Review of Stranger Things 2
I found Stranger Things 2 bigger and better than 1. 1. More science, less metaphysics in 2 than 1. For me, this makes the horror impact of the story even stronger. Will is infected by a kind of virus from the other dimension. That means there's a logical way to fight it — in this case, heat. And this in turn means our heroes have a logical chance of winning, in addition to the supernatural, supra-physical, which also plays a major role, in the person of Eleven, AKA Jane.

The Sea Was Alive
The air was cool and crisp as a figure made their way through the park. In the near distance, the sound of the tides crashing against the rocks nearly drowned out the sound of autumn leaves crunching beneath their feet. Each step crushed the dried foliage and rustled loose pieces around their tennis shoes. On the breeze the smell of the sea was potent, as if taking in a very nose full of the water itself. It had become dark by now, the world engulfed in the blanket of the night sky. Above, stars twinkled and danced. Beautiful. That was what Dean Carver thought as he came to a stop near the edge of the treeline. Beyond the firs that retained their needles, he could hear the sound of footsteps. Odd… Others tended to avoid the park at night. That was why he'd chosen to jog in the dark in the first place. At first the steps sounded slow and hesitant… They weren't jogging, but walking. No… Not walking. He realized that they were stumbling and falling over themselves like a newborn deer. Concern fell over him and he took a step toward the treeline.

Death of a Dynasty
It was what everyone considered to be unthinkable. A repeat of last year's World Championship final. Another win to be chalked up by the perennial Korean powerhouse that is SK Telecom T1. It all seemed to be playing out as per the last few years in a dynasty of dominance that was unrelenting and absolute. Even with a menagerie of uncharacteristic mistakes and a few gaps in the armor becoming more obvious through the Quarter and Semi-finals, SKT looked set to take their third consecutive and fourth overall World Championship on stage at the Bird's Nest in Beijing. I certainly had no reason to doubt them... until we entered Summoner's Rift for game one.
