All Rap is 'Conscious Rap'. Top Story - November 2017.
"Conscious rap" is defined as rap music which "challenges the dominant cultural, political, philosophical, and economic consensus." Which, if you ask me, sounds a hell of a lot like regular, old rap. The definition continues to state that "conscious rap" songs usually contain "positive, uplifting messages, often delivered over smooth ear-grabbing beats." Which again, to me just sounds like rap.

New Out in Grime Music
Over the past few weeks, it has been hard to catch up with all the sick releases happening. End of October saw Krept and Konan release their two incredible mixtapes 7 Days and 7 Nights. Halloween saw Skepta release his Vicious EP and Metro Boomin & Offset release Without Warning (which actually released without warning). Start of November has brought us new Dave's album Game Over and Wiley announcing a new album for next February whilst releasing a single from it this week.

Love Gone Wrong
I am a lesbian you were too, we were together for what felt like forever until you broke my fragile heart in two. I believed in us I thought we were strong but in the end you showed me wrong. I loved you with all I had but nothing was good enough for you only bad. I never mistreated you nor cheated but you did you even planned it. The sad thing is I was saving for a ring for one day our wedding bells would ring. Now I am all alone in this mad world with out a heart to hold for you took yours back and now my heart is left with mold. Mold from sickness and heartbreak why you why my heart and happiness you had to take. I don’t wish you ill I wish you happiness even though you took mine away I will never be like you no how no way. I am Me you are you it pains me to say I’m still in love with you.

The White Lady: An International Phenomenon
You know what one of my favorite stories from the Philippines was? The story of the White Lady. As a kid, I was told the story by my father who said he encountered her on the drive back to our farm in Batangas. As I grew older, I learned that he wasn't the only one. A lot of people from all over the Philippines claim to have seen the White Lady. The stories of who she is and how she came to be vary slightly, as do the accounts of her sightings. The story from my father absolutely chilled me as a child and I wanted to share it.
