How Millennials Killed the Traditional Mattress Store. Created with: Lull.
Blaming millennials for the world's problems is trendy these days. Apparently we killed cereal, department stores, and even patriotism! But if our disgruntled elders would take a pause from scolding us to remove their nostalgia-colored glasses, they might see we didn’t actually kill their beloved pastimes, we just made them better.

Why Ditching Your Old Spring Mattress is the Best Choice for Your Body. Created with: Lull.
Our bodies deserve to be treated with respect. As a yoga and dance teacher, I see the importance of taking care of our bodies every day. Whether it’s low impact, high impact, dance cardio, boxing, yoga, goat yoga, rock climbing, goat rock climbing (just kidding, I’m sure the line has been drawn at goat rock climbing, but you get the gist), there’s a movement class for every body. So, why is it so hard for us to take care of our bodies when it matters most? We spend ⅓ of our lives sleeping, so let’s take a minute and really think about our sleep quality and how seriously we’re taking it.

How to Build a Sleep Sanctuary on a Budget . Created with: Lull.
Just this year, I transitioned from working my 9-5 office job to working for myself — woo! With this change came a serious realization: I need to update my bedroom. As the majority of my work is done via laptop in my personal space, I knew the investment and time would be worth it to make a space where I could be productive during the day and cozy at night. I have always been a budget-friendly shopper, typically purchasing only the pieces that are necessary. As a result, I was prohibiting my space from feeling cozy — simply due to dollars! Well, within a matter of weeks I realized that in order to be creative, inspired, comfortable, and productive, I have to love my space. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that I can love my space while still on a budget. Are you skeptical? Find out how I created the bedroom of my dreams!

Kourtney Kardashian's Avocado Egg Salad

Parasite vs Joker: A comparison of two films that wage war on wealth inequality
There is no doubt that both Joker and Parasite have created a stir in the world of cinema and very much both deserve to take home Best Picture - in my opinion they are both jarring works of art that directly point a bold finger at how people suffer as as a result of wealth inequality, but they accomplish this in different ways. In this article, I will compare Joker and Parasite and demonstrate the similarities and differences between the narrative structures and representations within these two Best Picture nominees.

There's a new trend on the horizon, and this one's a keeper! Many of us are beginning to take sustainability and natural health more seriously in our daily routines. A Bittersweet Breakup Playlist
Break-ups are awful. They’re full of immense pain and hurt for both parties involved. You might think it’s easier for one person, but it just looks like it because they’ve had more time to mentally and emotionally prepare for this moment. And it’s okay to not be okay, just like it’s okay for you ‘not being okay’ to be your new okay for a while. I’m told that it gets better, and whilst I’m still waiting for it to get better, I have my positive pants on that things will get better. But I’m also giving myself as much time as I need to heal. I’m not going to lie to you, I thought it would be quicker; but I’ve learnt over this past month that it’s a long and enduring process and I think I’ve finally embraced that. I don’t know if I’m allowed to plug my previous articles on here, but I wrote a very intimate blog post two weeks ago called ‘Grief’, if you would like to get more an insight into my thought processes and my experiences with grief .

Influencers are too predictable
It took 10 years for Lady Gaga to get her feet off the ground, but when it did, she had it all. The charisma, the talent, the branding. Then it took her 10 years to find a near nemesis. In my unpopular opinion, a great example of this is the way Ava Max - a near Gaga copy cat- has followed a fast route to fame. If you just look at the similarities in the music, the blonde hair and “monster” branding. It’s almost as if Ava Max is taking direct inspiration from Gaga’s career and implementing it into her own to gain notoriety. Sadly enough, it’s working.

The Skate Bible: Origins (1950 - 1975)
Okay, so picture this. It's the early 1950's. You're in California standing over a golden beach and ocean of opportunity. You're clutching on to your surfboard with your soul in the sea and your eyes dazzling beneath the glimmer of the sun. But, those waves you're planning on riding – they're nowhere to be seen. The sea is settled and you're left wandering aimlessly with a thirst for the adrenaline coursing from the depths of the deep blue. You're drifting away into mindless boredom – and you need an escape. You need something fresh and exciting to kill the bad vibe and fill you with ecstasy.
