Venezuela’s Machado Hands Trump Nobel Peace Prize Medal In Ultimate Suck-Up Move

Donald Trump is insecure. He shuffles about seeking undo praise and unwarranted prizes. He is a secondhander in all of this. His ways reflect that of a child, not in need of sustenance or even love, but a spoiled brat yearning for attention.

When Maria Corina Machado “gifted” her Nobel Peace Prize to the American leader, it stood as a moment where you offer a child a toy and they stop whining and crying. For her to even suggest that she hand over her prize which she earned through quashing disputes, she violated the Nobel Prize Committee’s rules.

The prize is not to be transferred in any way and it is not Trump’s name that is recognized but Machado’s. This sensitive little square president has taken on the role of a crybaby who must seek the ball or pick it up and go home. His whole demeanor demonstrates that he cannot deal with reality first hand.

In his desperate attempts at saying that he is not here to “start wars” he’s already been engaged with multiple assaults on nations. If he really wanted to earn the Nobel Peace Prize, he should obliterate the Iranian regime and decimate the Ayatollah.

The Nobel Prizes are mixed anyway. All of them. Especially the prize for peace. If the late Yasser Arafat, a brutal autocrat can “win” the award, what does that say about other recipients after him? Trump just figures he’s not going to earn the prize in any of the other five fields, so he longs for the one that best benefits mankind through tranquility.

It could be said that actions could be the reason you earn the prize. Nope. President Barack Obama took home Norwegian gold and a diploma because of what he might do as president. This has enraged Trump to the point that he didn’t even have the courtesy of congratulating President Obama for his reception of the accolade.

What bothers Trump so much is the fact he is pushing eighty and is in his second consecutive term as president, and he still isn’t feeling the love from the Nobel Committee. He’s decompartmentalized his entire administration in order to seek a prize that is controversial and troublesome in some respects. His insecurity is so deep that he has sat by just to see someone else walk away with his coveted achievement. He’s like Gollum in The Lord of the Rings. He wants his “precious” and he wants it now.

But the Nobel Committee can at least see through Trump’s nonsense. They can ascertain that he is not worthy of a prize that has a checkered past to say the least. The sickening thought of all of this is that Trump is going to do whatever is in his power to “obtain” the prize, through grift or graft. His pettiness knows no bounds and he will plow over stops just to get his way.

But the Committee doesn’t work like that. There is a host of people who vote on the recipient of the prize and a whole process which occurs. Though it may be flawed, the system still works on merit to a degree. Like Obama, you really just have to be likable and carry an air of even a modicum of sophistication and tranquility.

This is what’s scary. Because Trump might be eligible for the prize, there’s still a slim chance he may take a trip to Norway in white tie and tails. It’s very possible but not probable that he will be awarded the world’s most vaunted prize, arguably. Let’s see that that never actually happens for him.
