The Push for a New Era of Politics in America!
Hello Everyone, My name is Dennis Vandusen-Torres and I am a 2024 Presidential Hopeful. I have no political experience and I do not have any political backing. But what I do have is a new Plan for America, one that the current leaders in Washington don't want. I have a plan that refuses to sweep the issues that plague this nation under the rug and together if We The People stand united we can fight these issues head-on!
1. First I am appalled at the state of our educational system! It is no wonder we have thousands of at-risk students falling behind each year. The reason is we don’t invest nearly enough in the educational system. The US Spends only $7.1 billion annually on Education and compared to other programs the US invests in this one has to have the lowest budget while Americans are either in debt for decades or have gone broke trying to pay for an education to better themselves. My Plan is to Invest more into the Education System and Create a Free Universal Education Program where you can get the education Americans to want and deserve without having to deal with the costs of student loan debts.
2. Second I am appalled at the state of our Healthcare System, Americans should never be scared to seek medical help because they are scared of being in debt for life for a small ER Visit and Cost of Prescriptions, This is outrageous that we have let these Big Pharmaceutical and Health and Medical Insurance Companies infiltrate our government at a tremendous cost to the people's pockets. I will Give the People of this Nation Free Universal Healthcare. As this is a god give right not the decision of some insurance or pharmaceutical company!
3. I will work to Reform the Justice System and end this war on drugs! The US spends $81,000 annually to Keep Americans locked up in jails and Prisons and we rank #1 in the world in the Rate of Incarceration per capita. This is unacceptable as this just causes an undue burden on our Law Enforcement Officials and Our Courts. And most of this is due to the failure of the War on drugs. The US has Been throwing upwards of $50 Billion in Tax dollars annually at the War on Drugs for 50 years now and not solved the issue by any means. That means America Failed and Wasted Trillions in Tax dollars for nothing. If we threw this much at education and other issues like homelessness and hunger things may be different. So my plan is to reform the Justice system to wear they are only investigating serious crimes such as Murder, Rape, Robberies, Etc. And I will implement a Treatment over Criminal Record type of system and I will Legalize the recreational use of cannabis nationwide and put the tax revenue raised into programs Like Education, Healthcare, Ending Homelessness and Hunger, Social Security, etc.
4. I will Lower Taxes on the Middle and Lower Classes and raise taxes on the wealthy and big corporations, On top of that I will give Americans a federal minimum wage that matches the current costs of living. I believe that if We put a cap on the Cost of living where it stands and average that across the nation with a minimum wage of $15-$20 federally. We can even out the wealth to the poverty gap in America. This will give us all a better quality of life with an equal playing field to succeed.
5. I will push to close and end Wasteful Programs and offices that other agencies were already in place and designed for. For example, the Office of Homeland Security and the Office of Immigration and Customs are just a waste of taxpayer dollars and Space. These offices are doing jobs that the CIA, FBI, The Dept Of Justice, the Department of Defense, and the Military should be doing.
6. The office of Immigration and Customs is known for committing civil rights abuses while doing illegal and unwarranted immigration raids in American Communities and businesses. This is unacceptable. I believe that this nation was founded on illegal immigration and there will always be illegal immigration and you cant claim illegal immigration on stolen land. Now if you come to America and are not going to be a productive citizen and you break the law you will be arrested, you will serve your time and you will be deported no questions asked. Now if come into America and wish to be a productive citizen and pay your taxes like everyone else then I am all for it.
7. My plan for foreign policy is this, the rest of the world needs to step up and chip in, America is not the Worlds Security or Police Force. Our Military is designed to protect America and prevent foreign threats they are not for endless wars, the toppling of governments, regime changes, preventing uprisings in other nations, etc. America will no longer be bailing out other nations or coming to the aid of those who can not even attempt to pull their own weight in the world. My message to foreign dictators and totalitarian governments that threaten the US. I would watch exactly what you say because unlike others before me I will not cower and bow down and any attempt to endanger American Lives will be met with swift and deadly force.
8. I will Honor the Constitution 100% and will not push for laws that would impede these rights such as Taking your Firearms. The constitution strictly states that " It is the Right of the People to Keep and Bear Arms, and this shall not be infringed" I fully believe this to be true but something does need to be done about gun violence. My plan is to Raise the Price and Taxes on Ammunition and create a system just like firearms for ammunition. I will create a law that Gun Owners must put Either a Biometric lock on the Firearm itself or it must be put in a safe with the only access being to the owner of that firearm. I will only take guns from those who prove they are not responsible enough to be in possession of a firearm. Guns do not kill people irresponsible gun owners do!

Indonesian Plane Goes Missing
On January 17, 2026, an ATR 42‑500 aircraft operated by Indonesia Air Transport (IAT) went missing while flying from Yogyakarta to Makassar. Initial Discoveries About 24 hours after the disappearance, rescuers reported finding wreckage on a hilltop in the Bulusaraung area, including fragments of the fuselage and other aircraft parts. One body was recovered from the site, while teams continued to search for additional remains or survivors. Authorities emphasized that while some debris had been located, the investigation into the exact cause of the crash was just beginning. Pieces of the aircraft were being carefully documented and collected to assist with the investigation.
