The outcome of this election really shouldn't come as a shock considering the antics of Trump. What we should be cognizant of is that the Trump Presidency has made the United States sink so low in international standings that it is almost impossible to reverse the damage. Not matter who is inaugurated in January this Administration for the past four years has been able to create the greatest riff in our society. The divisions that have widened because of the utter incompetence of one Donald Trump has only incensed the publics responses. The closeness of the election just shows how deep the divisions have become. We can also state that in no other time in recent history has the United States been faced with an Administration that has dismantled the rule of law and this election is proof once again that Trump will do anything to dispel the results if Biden is declared the winner.
Will history repeat? One might agree when we look back to the early 1930's. There is a distinct similarity of the economy of Germany of that period and of the United States today. The economic and cultural periods strike a similarity where the outcomes have drastic consequences. If we as a nation can't see this we are hopelessly riddled in another epic disaster. It is without a doubt that today there continues to be those who instigate the turbulence that has pitted Americans against each other. The radical extremes that have surfaced during this period is testament to the provocation that Trump has engineered through-out his Presidency.
Now, the question remains what happened to all those Democratic candidates who were so adamant in their zeal to topple Trump, especially after the Democratic Convention? Where were they and why weren't they rallying around Biden both physically and vocally to show that unity of purpose. A unity to pull the divides closer together. Or could it be that they were also disenchanted with the DNC's posturing in positioning Biden over Senator Sanders? And, why were these candidates not unifying behind either Biden or Sanders when it really mattered right up to Super Tuesday? Was the DNC and the media orchestrating the pivotal Biden and Harris ticket long before the convention?
If Trump pulls out a victory there is plenty of blame to go around. And you can start with the establishment of the DNC. We can also put blame on the American public whose own failure to realize just how much damage has been done not only by this Administration but others as well to the way of life that was synonymous with the quality of life millions of Americans experienced during the 1950's thru the early1960's. From the early 1970's so many haven't been educated to the degree that would enable them to realize that with the right balance progressive policies are more effective in securing a better quality of life for all than what the realities of today actually are.
This past election has only cemented the current dysfunction of our government. The billions of dollars spent in this election cycle alone proves two things: One, money in political campaigns creates division not unification, And, two, those billions never went back to stimulate economic recovery considering today we are facing a Global Pandemic that has decimated the business community through-out the U.S. Today, the divides are widening and this past election just proves it. Had there been a unified effort in this years political cycle from the very beginning in not only combating the current pandemic thousands of lives could have been saved and our sagging economy would not have capitulated to a virus and pitted one American against another.
Sad to say the United States faces a long road ahead. The great leaders we had like Lincoln, Dr, Martin Luther King, John Kennedy and FDR unified this nation in time of great peril. Some wonder will Joe Biden. be able to unite this nation and pull America back from irrelevancy? Can he restore our future for generations to come? Will he be able to provide the leadership in propelling the United States through the transition from a nation crumbling within to a nation that is healthy and vibrant? It is obvious that Trump isn't that leader. For he has had four years of undermining the very core of America.
