Abuse of minorities in India

By shakeel ahmadPublished 4 years ago 4 min read

Only fifteen years ago today, India's secular, liberal intelligentsia, India's democratic continuity, its judicial system, economic development and the glory of secular, liberal morality to degrade Pakistan and blame Pakistan's ideology for its decline. I used to be wet. Our countless political leaders also sang the praises of Indian democracy. This was the time when in the middle of Lahore city, just off the canal, there was an office of "Sefma" where ten years ago today, Nawaz Sharif came to Tarang and one day in his speech Nawaz Sharif crossed the borders of the two countries culturally and economically. But the melody of ending was Alapa. In the same speech, both sides also mentioned eating the same kind of potatoes and meat.

Today, in spite of the dire situation in India, this intellectual class and political liberal-like ruling group does not call India as a bad country but blames it on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Singh, Bajrang Dal, BJP and especially Narendra Modi. Seeks to link religious violence. These people try to prove that until yesterday, in Gandhi and Nehru's "democratic India" there were always streams of milk and honey flowing for the minorities, with the sole purpose of saying that if secularism were to prevail. The two can live together.

India's history of minority abuse is such that two of its prime ministers have been assassinated by minorities in the country in retaliation for the worst atrocities committed against them, and this happened during the tenure of the secular democratic Congress Describe Who does not know that Indira Gandhi was assassinated by the Sikhs in retaliation for the Golden Temple, the holiest site in India, just as they had assassinated General Michael Dyer in London on 13 March 1940 to avenge the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. I was killed.

Similarly, Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) on May 21, 1991 by a female suicide bomber in retaliation for atrocities against the Tamil minority. These two minorities were persecuted during the same period that not only my country's intelligentsia but also pro-India writers around the world called it the largest democracy in the world.

Mention of Kashmir here is extra because the story of atrocities against Muslims there has a separate article. The eternal story of Kashmiris' struggle for independence and their martyrdom was also constantly denigrated by the Communist intellectuals of Pakistan and then their successor secular intellectuals for the last seventy years and presented it as a border dispute instead of the eternal relationship of Kalima Tayyaba.

This country with democratic continuity and secular constitution had created such an atmosphere in the country from its inception that any minority living in India has to live under the control of "Hindu majority". This dictatorship is called "Tyranny of Majority" in a democracy. The Muslim majority in India realized this much later, when they were gradually transformed into a socially, economically, politically and administratively backward and impoverished minority. They were persecuted at a time when India had been under the democratic rule of the secular Congress for almost 35 years.

Former Chief Justice of Delhi High Court Rajinder Sachar's report, published in March 2005, presented such grim figures that even middle-class Muslim intellectuals living in India themselves could not believe it. The "Dalit" or "Shudras" have been living the most backward life in Hinduism for centuries, but the Sachar report revealed that Muslims are also below the poverty line of 2% below the Shudras. Not during the Congress era, but following Gandhi's hypocritical style of politics.

Khushwant Singh holds a global position in the world of knowledge. He received the Padma Bhushan award from India in 1974, which he returned in protest of the siege of the Golden Temple. His book, End of India, was published in 2003. In this book, he has narrated the story of the continuous destruction and ruin of Indian Muslims since 1947. He wrote that in response to the assassination of Indira Gandhi in 1984, not only Sikhs witnessed the massacre but also Muslims were killed.

Seventy Muslims were martyred in Hashimpura alone. He writes that the Muslim settlements he visited around India in the 1970s were incredibly filthy, with filthy sewers filled with extremely foul-smelling mud. There was only one school in the Muslim-majority areas of Ghaziabad with only 300 students. When Muslims were asked why they did not teach, the answer was, "What will we do after studying?"

Forty years of Congress rule has brought Muslims to such a level of backwardness in Indian society that it has paved the way for the BJP government's agenda and genocide of Muslims. Experts write about the ten stages of genocide of a nation: One of them is that the group whose genocide is intended to be made marginalized economically, politically and socially. Yes, such a bad condition is like that of animals and insects, who were killed whenever they wanted and then no one regrets their death, no eye sheds tears.

Khushwant Singh called Gandhi's Gujarat the center of hatred and prejudice. The anti-Muslim riots that took place in 2002 after the Godhra incident had shaken the entire world conscience. Eighty yards
