The Donald Effect; An Open Letter To The Former President Of United States
Childhood, triumphs and Donald Trump. Lets get hot and heavy on what this election meant for me. The good, the bad and the downright nasty.

Dear Donald,
Do you know what I miss in being a child? The way I was so happy with little things. My world was diminutive but it didn't have any mental boundaries I couldn't stretch. I playacted and was everywhere and yet at the same time, I was in my living room with my dolls too. My favorite Christmas movie was 'Home Alone: Lost in New york' because the child in me wanted to explore the world around me even as the adults warned me against the dangers of the world.
That is when I saw you for the first time.
All you said in the movie was: ''Last aisle to the left'' to Kevin. You were just any other adult for me. I would have forgotten you first thing, if it weren't for my aunt.
''That's Donald Trump! He owns the whole plaza where this movie was shot!'' she said practically jumping in joy.
Through you a lot of people lived a life they could never afford. I think that is why a lot of people voted for you.
The more I grew up and learned about the world and you, the stronger my commitment to see America thrive became. I believed that American people were too intelligent to put somebody like you in the office. However, the election results took me by surprise.
Some of my family members voted for you. They felt, like many American voters, a kinship with you. They believed that you would give them validation for the hurts they've been through. Strangely, all you did was take away the little they already did have.
A small part of me believed in you until the discrimination against the disabled, the black and the immigrants. While being a father yourself, you still chose to take children away from their parents and put them in cages.
Did it make you feel safe? Knowing while you slept peacefully, children were terrified alone wrapped in Styrofoam as they slept on the floor. History will never be kind to you. Don't expect it to be.

You might have made it into one of my favorite childhood movie but you also took many children's childhood away from them.
Some might be able to ignore your sexist, belittling, discriminatory and ableist remarks but not the cruelty with which you handled the Covid-19 pandemic.
Most of us didn't really want to vote for Biden. But if it meant you wouldn't be in the office than that was a sacrifice, we were willing to make. I really wish Bernie Sanders was still in the running for president. Maybe then, the choice would have been easier. Nevertheless, I'm happy you're gone.
THE GOOD IN PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS:
I had to use google for this because off the top of my head I couldn't say one good thing you did in your years in the office (it felt like decades).
''President Trump gave approval to the Keystone pipeline, the Dakota access pipeline, and oil production from the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge, a vast uninhabited region that could produce up to 20 percent of our petroleum needs.'' (source CBC news).
Not only that Trump administration also granted more permits for mining of oil, gas, and coal from federal lands. This resulted in lower energy prices as well as paved way for U.S. energy independence so that we are now becoming the leading exporter.
Bad fir the climate change. Good for the economy. Typical, Donald Trump behavior.
A record number of black, brown and women voted around this election. In a way you brought them together against you. People traveled long distance and waited for hours on election polls so that they can vote Bidden. In 2020, that victory was realized, when Bidden was proclaimed the winner in majority of the states and he became the 46th president of united states.
It was also the first time my younger sister voted.
Dear Donald, you weren't a good president, but you made us realize to be vigilante, so power can never again rest in the hands of a man or woman like you. Goodbye and good riddance.
