The day democracy died

Every four years, we get to vote and choose the path of this great nation. from the white house to the house and senate to the local and state level, it is all propagated on the premise that we will actually get to have our voices heard. There is always rhetoric, and that rhetoric is always the same, seemingly. However, this time for possibly the first in my 40-year history on this earth, one side has actively and openly cheated and gotten away with it. One side is happy and the other is visibly and understandably upset, as is the case after every single election. Every candidate seems to promise things they know they can't possibly get done, but they promise it regardless and we believe it.

This is the way this country is set to move and we have been able to stay together and come together and move forward as a nation. There is always the fear that one party will fix the ailments of a nation and the world. Yet every single year, things stay status quo, and nothing changes. The media has tried their best to set the narrative for one party over another and the nation has withstood the onslaught of clearly partisan rhetoric they have displayed. The media is supposed to stay neutral on the news and just report it and give the facts.

The media however has shown its hand and they are on the side of money and perceived power, not the people or the truth! Democracy is supposed to rely on two things, the truth and the media using the 1st Amendment to help protect it, and the ability to pick the leaders of our country and the desire to lead in a clean and truthful fashion, not a power move to never give up power. The media and the politicians in this country have sold out to each other to stay in power and the people are the ultimate losers in this scenario. While the media and the career politicians are celebrating the death of democracy in this country, they sat there in almost giddy fashion and celebrated the stealing of an election like the people of this country are simpletons!

You see this has very little to do with party lines or affiliations and everything to do with power and the ability to squash the people they are supposed to represent and work for. If they know they can steal any election needed to keep the power they so desperately crave, they will not stop here. The white house was just the first step. Now they will come for the 2nd Amendment, then the 1st Amendment will be taken away. Once they have taken the ability to defend ourselves and spread the truth, there will be no stopping the things they can achieve in the quest for ultimate and unyielding power. The final step will be the taking of health care and ushering in a truly universal system in which the young and able-bodied will be taken care of and the rest will be made comfortable and left to die because no more tax money can be derived from them. It is cliche, yes, but it is the truth. You see under Obama Care, several elderly, my own parents who have great jobs and insurance, once retired and sick, with cancer, the ability to pay and care for themselves was in danger because of the premiums and co-pays involved. These people worked in health care their whole careers and knew this was a bad thing, but still had no choice but to abide by the rules set forth by the ACA. This is what is in store for all of us, once the universal system is heralded in.

Never in America, you are all saying to yourselves, but remember just 19 years ago we all thought a terror attack on our country the level we saw on 9/11 was impossible, but it happened. Please understand, they are using and mobilizing the two youngest generations to get what they want because they are the ones willing to accept the "free" things in life. Think about when you were young and just starting out, or were in school the most important years of your life, and FREE and FAIR and EQUALITY FOR ALL is all you were hearing! It sounds good to someone with no drive, or experience, or both! The socialist wing of this country is much more formidable than given credit for, and they are hidden waiting to strike once the time is right. This is a conspiracy theory you are saying. Look around you and open your eyes and then say that.

Everywhere you look the evidence is all around you. How many kids do you know with jobs these days? They are "focused on school", or "working on their sport to get into a good school", or my favorite "they are being kids. Kids are supposed to enjoy being kids!" sure they are, but they are also supposed to be learning how to be hardworking contributing members of society, not finding new and creative ways of being a burden to it. This is what has happened in our country in the course of a few days. From election day until now, we have watched our country be stolen away from us, and this will be the end result.

This is not a call to pick one side over another politically, it is a call to take a step back and look at what has really happened here. Votes were counted and allowed in that were snuck in under the dark of night and it wasn't even hidden. They didn't even try to hide it. The numbers literally changed overnight and it is quite obvious to anyone with the ability to analyze and think, what has happened. Sure it feels good to get your way, and it sucks to not get your way. Look at what is happening right now in this country and answer this one question; Will it really be any better tomorrow, or will be a different day and the same ole crap, under the guise of change and equality? Make no mistakes, our country literally changed and became almost unrecognizable on 11/7/2020. The day democracy died and the mob rule won out. It was a great run though, wasn't it?
