Primary: June 2, 2020

Regional/LD level caucuses: March 14, 2020

Congressional District caucuses: March 21, 2020

Step 1: File a statement of candidacy form with the South Dakota Democratic Party, SDDP, PO Box 1485, Sioux Falls SD 57101. You can also email the party at [email protected].

Step 2: Attend your regional/legislative district caucus on March 14, 2020 and be elected to the CD caucus.

Step 3: Attend the Congressional District caucus on March 21, 2020 where delegate candidates are selected. Your name will be on the ballot underneath the presidential candidate of your choice. There is a slate of 9 and 2 alternates.

Step 4: Get people to vote for the presidential candidate of your choice and YOU on June 2. Good Luck!

Selection of PLEO and At Large Delegates: Will be selected at the State Convention on June 20, 2020.

PLEO and At Large candidates file with the SD State Party chair at 1717 South Cleveland, Sioux Falls SD 57105 by the deadline of June 12, 2020.

Step 2: Vote in the Presidential Primary on March 3, 2020.

Step 3: Attend your county convention on March 7, 2020 and be elected to the District Level

Step 4: Attend the District Level convention on March 21, 2020 where national delegates are selected.

Selection of PLEO and At Large Delegates: Will be selected by the Tennessee State Executive Committee on April 18, 2020. Deadline for filing is March 27, 2020.

Step 2: Attend your Neighborhood caucus between March 20 and March 27, 2020. Get elected to the County Caucus.

Step 3: Attend the County Caucus between March 20 and April 4, 2020.

Step 4: Attend the State Convention on April 17-18, 2020. District level delegates will be selected April 17.
