Reason First: ‘FAITH IS UNDER ATTACK’: NICKI MINAJ SPREADS MISLEADING INFORMATION AT THE UNITED NATIONS
Nicki's claims of extremism against Nigerian Christians, like Trump's, aren't backed by any data

With Nicki Minaj’s new found support for Donald Trump and his initiative to save “Christian Nigerians” this recognizes the fact she may be running for politics herself. With Marjorie Taylor Greene a sore spot for the president, Onika Maraj may take up the mantle and go MAGA before anyone notices.
Notice the language, though. President Trump says “Nigerian Christians.” He could give a damn about Nigerians qua Nigerians. Donald Trump doesn’t care about black people! Seriously, though he is more concerned with mysticism over the strife that has been directed at Muslims and nonbelievers in the country.
Out of 220 million people, the majority is Muslims. Catholics and Protestants make up the Christians while others round out the rest of the country. Nicki Minaj may think she’s being sincere, but as her prepared statement to the United Nations reflects, she knows little about the history, geography, and demographics of a nation thousands of miles away from the United States.

For her to get up there and act like she’s got some claim on being a protégé to President Trump only displays her ignorance. She’s not alone. The aforementioned president is similar. He knows he’s wrong but chooses to shill out hollow bromides and dry platitudes to placate the masses.
Minaj is just a silly celebrity who has failed to do her research and just backs whomever on whim without thinking. Her irrationalism shows when she says lines like, “I would like to thank President Trump for prioritizing this issue and for his leadership on the global stage in calling for urgent action to defend Christians in Niger,” where she has no clue what she’s babbling about.
While it’s okay for notable people in the entertainment industry to take political stands, they should at least be well-versed before they enter the stage of geopolitics.
It is imperative for anyone to know what they’re talking about when it comes to the world stage.
It is a virtue to be knowledgeable about the things people care about. If one wishes to see the world change, there are a wide array of avenues to express those opinions. Minaj even had support for a Truth Social post that Trump put up on his site. This is scary. She should be more concerned with writing rhymes and counting her millions of dollars. Why does she stand up for those who believe? Does she respect the rights of nonbelievers, too?
When she stood up at the UN she should have come prepared to speak on the plight of Foundational Black Americans.
But wouldn’t that be too selfish? If she showed any sign of rational self-interest would that tarnish or even ruin her career even worse than endorsing Trump?
Or is it a lot sillier? Since her arch nemesis Cardi B advocated for Kamala Harris, is she trying to win some kind of points in their feud? Who is the real drama? Let’s not get gossipy and keep it rational. Hip hop is just as cutthroat as any other genre or human endeavor in general. These two scrapped on records and threw shade outside of the booth.

Now is the time to let Nicki Minaj know about Objectivism, the philosophy of Ayn Rand. If she just takes seriously her role as a performer and not an activist or political figure, Nicki Minaj might adhere to and apply the principles of the philosophy to her life. One of the cornerstones of Objectivism is rationality. If shectakes full control over her own mind, she has the ability to do whatever she wishes, rationally. It just might save her career and her life in politics.
