Joe Biden Will Be The Next President Of The United States
The G.O.P has peaked. Trump will survive impeachment.

Joe Biden, with his Secret Service entourage in tow, appeared at my best friend's restaurant, Rocco's Italian Restaurant, in McLean, Virginia earlier this summer. He was gracious and charming, and chatted all the patrons up, and allowed them all to take pictures with him. Everybody was smitten with warm feelings towards Joe. It was just another day in the former Vice President's march towards the Presidency, something he felt he was born to do, and is now within his reach. Make no mistake, Joe Biden is going to run for the President next time around, and he will win. Many, including myself, wanted him to be the Democratic Nominee the last time around, but Hillary had locked up all the major party donors, and had laid a solid campaign network from her previous go around running against Barack Obama.
The GOP has peaked. For eight years they were fueled by a base that simply hated Barack Obama being President. They loathed him. They couldn't stand waking up everyday knowing that Barack Hussein Obama was President of the United States. No matter that he governed as a centrist, not only because it was the right thing to do, but because he absolutely had to. The fact that he was scandal free drove them into fits of insanity. They desperately tried to drum up scandals (Benghazi, Benghazi!), but he was there for the duration. Oh, how they suffered. They knew that Obamacare was just horrible and had to be replaced, never mind actually coming up with a viable solution to help fix any problems with the Affordable Care Act. Trump gave the angry base what they wanted, diving into conspiracy theories early on with the Birther movement, and giving them all the nasty and crazy red meat they wanted, every step of the way, all the way to the White House. Trump became President, and then he was faced with nothing but reality, like the reality that the Republicans had no viable plan ever to replace Obamacare. Obamacare wasn't repealed. and they have done everything to attack the program and damage it, and carriers have been dropping out of the market at an unbelievable rate since January 2017. They say all politics is local. It just doesn't get any closer to home than the health and well being of your family. Trump has a lot of things going for him. He certainly gave Wall Street the right signals to set off a fantastic Wall Street year, but you couldn't have had that success without Barack Obama's stewardship of the economy ever since the big crash of 2008. The changing demographics of the nation, combined with the lack of results from the governing party that controls all three branches, and a narcissistic President who is under investigation by an F.B.I. special prosecutor, all spell doom for the Republican party.
I have noticed that Joe Biden resonates with many of my more conservative leaning friends. His Catholic faith, his down to earth roots, are great personal assets. Then there are the personal family tragedies he has endured; the car crash in the early 70's that killed his wife and baby daughter and injured his two sons who were on their way to purchase the family Christmas tree, and the recent death of his beloved son Beau, a former Attorney General of Delaware, and Army officer. There is something about Biden that cuts across party lines. He has a special connection with the American people.
Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller will bring charges against Trump associates, and perhaps Trump family members and Trump himself. It's going to happen. You can smell it in the air inside the Beltway, which, incidentally, is where I live. There is a reason that Steve Bannon resigned from his White House duties, and then went out of his way to tell us all that the firing of James Comey by President Trump was the worst mistake that any modern politician has ever made. Trump won't resign, no matter what comes his way. He will fight everything tooth and nail, and when it comes down to it, our Constitutional framers made it really, really hard to evict a president from office. To get a conviction in the U.S. Senate, a two/thirds majority vote is required. Despite Trump's inability to get any major legislation passed so far, he has tended to his core base well. That, combined with the constant gerrymandering of Congressional districts over the years, signals to me that the Democrats will probably take back the Senate, but the GOP can still barely hold onto the House. In that scenario, barring high crimes and misdemeanors committed by the President, he stays in office until the end.
The Democratic nomination is Biden's if he wants it. He wants it. He is lining up the donors early and laying the groundwork as he sets off on his book tour this month. Just imagine a wounded and angry President Trump, possibly even impeached yet still in office, in Presidential debates with Joe Biden. Trump would be toast. Even if Trump isn't impeached, by the time four years of Trump has passed, the stark differences between the two men would give a major advantage to Amtrak Joe. Joe Biden is the perfect foil to the nasty side of Donald Trump. Yes, I am convinced that in a little over three years from now, Joe Biden will be the 46th President of these United States of America.
