Are they a good team that works for America?

On Tuesday the 11th of August, the final word of Joe Biden came out. He has chosen Kamala Harris to be his Vice President if he'll be elected. That was not really a surprise to me. I knew deep down that Joe Biden would choose Kamala Harris. America need her more than ever to give the Black people a voice. These events that happened this year, are essential to grow as a nation.

Kamala Harris is thrilled to be on Joe Biden's side to rule this country.

@JoeBiden can unify the American people because he's spent his life fighting for us. And as president, he'll build an America that lives up to our ideals.

I'm honored to join him as our party's nominee for Vice President, and do what it takes to make him our Commander-in-Chief. - Kamala Harris

And it is visa versa too. Joe Biden wants to have her on board too. Kamala Harris is - according to himself 'a fearless fighter': "I have the great honor to announce that I’ve picked @KamalaHarris — a fearless fighter for the little guy, and one of the country’s finest public servants — as my running mate. - Joe Biden"

She will fight for justice too. He stated that earlier: "Back when Kamala was Attorney General, she worked closely with Beau. I watched as they took on the big banks, lifted-up working people, and protected women and kids from abuse. I was proud then, and I'm proud now to have her as my partner in this campaign. I'm honored to join him as our party's nominee for Vice President, and do what it takes to make him our Commander-in-Chief. - Joe Biden"

Now, that is before the campaign started.

Last week was the Election week, with a lot of rumors, a president that will not accept his leave, and fight for his position as president.

Following the political issues from across the ocean - in The Netherlands to be precise - will make me a little bit not into the issues. I will try to understand this as much as I could.

These moments are so crucial for America right now. With so many problems that needs to be solved: the pandemic, the BLM-movement, the financial crisis and trying to let people talk to each other instead of fights. And there are so many more issues.

It is called a historic moment because Kamala Harris is from a daughter of a Jamaican father and an Indian mother. This is a historic moment because she is the first black woman and the first Asian-American woman who will be the Vice President of the USA if Joe Biden is elected.

Kamala Harris said about health care:

"There is perhaps no more complicated or more personal issue for Americans than health care. I know this from my own personal life, caring for my mother as she battled colon cancer. And I also know it from talking to so many Americans in this campaign — seniors and union members, young people and parents, workers and caregivers. No panicked parent should hold a sick child while worrying about an expensive hospital bill. No senior should have to cut their pill in half just to make ends meet.

Insurance companies and drug companies have jacked up prices so much that Americans, on average, pay twice what people in other countries pay for health care. Even though we spend more, we have failed to insure nearly 30 million Americans, and the problem has gotten worse under Donald Trump.

Big corporations are still putting profits over people’s wellbeing, and Republicans are determined to destroy what progress we have made and put those same corporations back in charge of the system. The next Democratic president needs a clear, transformative, and achievable vision of how we finally change this broken system for good."

I think Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are fighters and bring America back to be a one nation instead of people being against each other.

With great pleasure, I am happy both will lead this country.
