Dear Donald Trump,
Or should I say good riddance?

Dear Donald Trump,
As a person that has never once cared for the particulars of politics, never spoke of it, never even thought of it, my distaste for you says more than perhaps someone that is heavily involved in the topic. Seven of my 25 years on this planet mattered when it came to selecting the President and other government officials, and I didn't dare once register my name to vote. I didn't care, my voice couldn't possibly have made a difference. To be completely honest with you, I still don't think that it would have, but what I have seen over the last four years is undeniably inexcusable, bizarre, and equally as frightening.
There is a long list of things that went wrong during your presidency, and though you'll have your following guard you until the day that you all die, the bad outweighs anything good that may have been "swept under the rug". From you poking fun of those that are disabled, to your inability to take a nationwide pandemic seriously, your lack of responsibility was undoubtedly some of the worst that the world has ever seen. Despite all of the evidence against you, I'm not sure if you did it simply because you're the most toxic entity the United States has ever seen, or if you needed attention that badly that you had to take over the control of the "dumbest group of voters in the country".
From sexual assault charges, to tax fraud, to the removal of transgender rights, you were not a man that was for the people, and though you are merely a man and more of a monster, it's hard to believe that we're still surprised by all of the things that you've done, whether they were bigger or smaller than those stated.
Though there were many final straws, the one that broke the camel's back was you letting terrorists storm the Capital due to your inability to secure a second Presidential term, and though you may not want to admit to it, it was your own fault. It was like watching a child on the playground during recess get upset and create a catastrophic environment for everyone simply because his turn was over.
Your turn is over. You lost. You played golf as you lost a Presidential Election because you were a sore loser. It is astonishing that those words are actual truth, and not just someone trying to drag your name through the mud. The equally child-like, and animalistic, events that took place while you were in office are the most outrageous, unbelievable things to have ever happened in the United States— so unbelievable that when we reiterate this time to those that aren’t born yet, they will be equally as flabbergasted as we were when we were forced to watch it unfold.
I’m curious to see how the history books will speak your name and the events that you caused. As someone who enjoys the subject, I can only hope that they speak the truth— that they lay it all out for what it actually was. A disaster.
I will admit if one good thing has come from you being president it is this: You have made those around us show their true colors, making it easier for every day people to pinpoint the racist, homophobic, and sexist individuals in their lives. You have made it easier for us to free ourselves from toxic relationships⎻ including the one we've been forced to have with you for the last four years.
I wish I could say 'thank you' for all that you've done, but all I can say is good riddance.
