A confession, I have never been into fashion trends. There was a time in my life that I swore up and down I would become a fashion photographer. But, growing up I wore hand-me-downs from a boy family member. While the rest of the girls in my class wore bell-bottom jeans and cute sundresses I wore baggy jeans that my mom hemmed to almost fit me. The only time I was technically following a trend was by mistake. When I fell into depression in high school I wore the same black sweater with my hood up every day. I was labeled an “emo” kid and fit right in with the “scene” trend in the early 2000s. Regardless of my lack of fashion culture, there are trends I wish would come back in style to stick around forever.

The Almighty Butterfly Clip
Ah, the 90's. Quite the iconic decade and super nostalgic for me in a lot of ways. Now, I’d like to point out that I was born in 1995 and so technically, I am not a 90's kid. I was too young to understand and follow 90's trends during the 90's themselves of course, but I consider myself a 90's kid all the same. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I grew up in India, where trends from the western world were a little late to follow. Maybe 90's trends were so iconic that they bled way into the early to mid 2000's. Either way, I grew up playing with Polly Pockets and listening to Backstreet Boys, and it was great.

Mini, Midi, and Maxi dresses need to make a comeback
When I was in the 8th grade from 1971-1972 fashion was at its all time best. There were 3 distinct styles that girls could choose from and believe me we did. During those days most young ladies enjoyed dressing up for school and rarely wore pants. We were fashionable whether we wore mini. midi or maxi dresses and skirts or coats and I loved watching each day to see who was wearing what. I believe these 3 fashion trends should make a comeback for women who desire to be bold and feminine without being tied down to one look.

Bootcut Jeans
Bell-bottoms or Bootcut Jeans are a form of pants that gets wider from the knees down, creating a bell-shaped pant leg. Around the 1960s and the 1970s were when bootcut jeans started to get popular. They are such a cute and unique style that one can have.

RompHim Takes Over 2021 Summer Style
If there's one thing we know, it's that fashion trends come and go like the seasons. However, some fashion pieces aren't so hard to forget - even if we'd like to forget them (we're looking at you gaucho pants). One of the most loved and most judged fashion pieces that captivated the world in 2017 was RompHim. RompHim blew up in the 2017 men’s fashion scene, and soon became one of the most polarizing fashion trends to hit the scene. After a brief hiatus, the men’s romper brand has found a new home and is back in the fashion scene for summer 2021, but this time, they’ve teamed up with Shark Tank’s Tipsy Elves, the popular apparel brand responsible for the ugly Christmas sweater trend. We’re taking a walk down memory lane with RompHim, highlighting some of the biggest moments of its history, including its highly anticipated revival.

Is Embroidery Considered A Fashion Trend
Some fashion trends are here to stay while others have been forgotten. Embroidery is the technique of decorating a textile foundation with a needle and thread. You might remember your grandmother embroidering textiles to decorate the house, but embroidery was once a popular fashion trend. We have good news for you, though. Much like your favorite 90s styles, embroidery is back.
