As her fame has grown, rumours have circulated that the celebrity has had some help from plastic surgery to enhance her appearance. In recent years, many have commented that the star's nose seems to have changed since she first made a name for herself in the late 90s. Some pictures of The Avenger’s actress seem to show a more refined nose tip with a thinner bridge. Could this be the result of subtle nose-reshaping from a rhinoplasty or is the difference down to lucky camera angles?

WHAT THE STAR SAYS

In 2007, an American magazine featured Scarlett on its cover with the headline, “A List Nip/Tuck.” The article claimed that the Lost In Translation star had turned to a surgeon for a nose job. She was quoted as saying, “I definitely believe in plastic surgery. I don’t want to be an old hag. There’s no fun in that.”

The star denied that that there was any truth to the article. She responded in a statement: “I have always been straightforward with the press regarding my body image and I am very concerned that my fans (and perhaps even my employers) will feel mislead. Thus, I feel compelled to take immediate legal action against US Weekly.”

Scarlett’s shapely figure and beautiful curves are just part of the reason the actress has made her way onto countless “Sexiest Women Alive” lists. For her role as the Black Widow, the star endured long hours of training to look the part in that skin-tight costume. Since then, her boobs appear to have reduced in size, leaving many questioning if her cleavage was ever natural or whether she’s had a breast implant removal. WHAT THE STAR SAYS

Though the star has not directly responded to any of the boob job rumours, she has been very straightforward about the gossip surrounding her changing body weight in recent years.

To address the non-stop tabloid rumours, the outspoken star said: “While training for an upcoming film, I’ve come to this conclusion: chin ups are near impossible and lunges suck. There is no magic wand to wave over oneself to look good in a latex catsuit. Eating healthy and getting fit is about commitment, determination, consistency and the dedication to self-preservation.”

She continued to criticise the hearsay, saying: “Claims have been made that I’ve been on a strict workout routine regulated by co-stars, whipped into shape by trainers I’ve never met, eating sprouted grains I can’t pronounce and ultimately losing 14 pounds off my 5’3″ frame.”

THE VERDICT

Although there are conflicting reports out there, Scarlett has yet to respond to the majority of the claims that she’s had cosmetic surgery. The actress has grown from a pretty teenager to one of the world’s most beautiful women in front of our eyes, so it is possible that her features have simply changed as she matured. This, combined the dedication she puts into working out for certain roles could also explain her shrinking cleavage. With no confirmation that she had a boob job in the first place, it’s unfair to say. Whatever the case, the talented actress continues to wow us, on and off screen!

Many of Scarlett Johansson's devoted male admirers were astonished and disappointed to learn about her breast reduction, since they preferred her bigger boob size. So, why did Scarlett go from little boobs to huge, luscious breasts, just to return to small?

Scarlett was apparently dissatisfied with her large-size implants, despite the fact that they were not too enormous. She may have been suffering from back difficulties, her breast implants could have leaked or slipped, she could have had excessive scar tissue resulting in rock-hard boobs (capsular contracture), or she could have been concerned about developing breast cancer.
