The millennials redefining sexy
If you want to understand just how much underwear has changed in the past couple of decades, just look at Serena Rees’s journey. In the 1990s and early 2000s, Rees achieved massive international success with Agent Provocateur, which she launched with her partner Joseph Corré in 1994 and sold for a reported £100m in 2007. Where Agent Provocateur was known for creating vampy luxury lingerie and high-octane glamour for women, Rees’s most recent venture, the underwear-meets-streetwear label Les Girls Les Boys, takes a different tack.

On 28 January 1962, a large crowd formed outside Purple Manor, a nightclub in the Harlem neighbourhood of New York City. Gen X, Gen Z, Millennials: Which has the best style?
Online, Generation Z (ages 9-24) has been criticising numerous aspects of mainstream Millennial (ages 25-40) style, namely their affections for side-parted hair and skinny jeans. In the process they have unleashed a tidal wave of sassy, self-conscious and downright spiteful reactions from Millennials. The trending dispute is so impassioned, not due to a lifelong allegiance to the particular jeans or hairstyle in question, but because the accusation of being outdated has forced Millennials to face an uncomfortable truth: there's been a transfer of generational power.

Britain's first black aristocrats
For centuries, the Royal Family, Britain's wealthiest, most exclusive institution, has been synonymous with whiteness. And yet, for a brief moment, there she was: Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex, a biracial black woman, on the balcony at Buckingham Palace. Her picture-perfect wedding to Prince Harry in 2018 was an extraordinary amalgamation of black culture and centuries-old royal traditions, as an African-American preacher and a gospel choir graced St George's Chapel in Windsor. One woman wore a Shetland sweater under her embroidered dress, a wool scarf wrapped stylishly on her head. I couldn't take my eyes off of her. It was a simple new logic – style and self definition over everything.

Why Must Every Woman Possess Handcrafted Jewelry?
Jewelry is an important component of a woman’s ensemble if she is of the mind that it is possible to give one’s persona a distinctive twist. They will feel special, and their appearance will be finished off in a way that will set them apart from others. If you have a certain style in mind or are looking for a means to speak your heart, jewelry can also be a way for you to convey who you are and what’s in your heart. A long time ago, the gipsies adorned themselves with one-of-a-kind jewelry; queens and princesses selected or commissioned the creation of trinkets that are not worn by others; and commoners had their fair share of ornaments that defined their persona. Today, quirky, expressive baubles are once again becoming popular.
