A Great Pair Of Panties Can Boost Your Confidence

Let’s think about it. Women usually choose a bra based on their outfit of the day. Are you doing the same for your panties? You should be! I know we all get in a rut and just grab the first comfortable pair of briefs from the panty drawer, but ladies, this can ruin your outfit and your day. Think of your panties as the foundation of your outfit! Panty style is essential. If what’s underneath your outfit is not in the game, what’s on top will not look its best.

How many times have you gotten dressed, ready to head out the door, and then noticed an awkward panty line? Or even worse, as soon as you are out the door, you feel your panties riding up or down? This can make you feel self-conscious and ruin your whole day! Ladies, we NEED to do better. And it’s easier than you think. The color rule is the same as your bras. You need black, white and a nude. Of course, you will want to add some spicier colors and patterns, but we are talking about the essentials! Build up your wardrobe essentials as much as you can, but start out with your basic needed colors to make any outfit look its best.

Panty Size

First things first. Are you wearing the right size panties? Really are you? Are you just wearing the size you ALWAYS have worn? Take a look and see. Try out a few cheaper pairs to find your ideal size, and also know your size may be different depending on the style of panties. Panties are not all made the same. It’s probably time for a panty drawer refresh!

Classic Brief Panty

Let’s start out simple, with a fuller coverage style that can look great under most outfits and all by themselves. The classic brief, these are no longer your average mom panty. Classic briefs come in many fabrics and colors. I suggest a seamless option in all or most styles of panties. They are more comfortable, but this makes them more versatile for those days you are in a hurry and want to be comfortable but also stylish. Classic briefs are great for jeans, shorts, tights, skirts, and sleeping.

The next on the list is the thong. Or, as Sisqo would say it, “That thong thong thong thong thong.” (HA! Does this reference show my age?!) Thongs are a staple wardrobe item. If you don’t have at least one pair, GET ONE! I know what you are thinking. How can I be comfortable and have confidence if I am walking around all day with a wedgie? One word: seamless. Seamless thongs are comfortable, and most are wedgie free. Thongs are great for tight-fitting skirts, slacks, and form-fitting dresses. And talk about sexy. Men LOVE a woman in a thong.

Hipster Panty

Now, on to hipsters. Hipster panties are a low rise that has wider coverage than a bikini on the sides. Hipsters can fit a bit differently than a classic bikini. In my experience, I had to find the right size hipster for me, and that was one size up from my normal panty size. I find that a tight hipster panty can be very unflattering under your outfit and alone. The way hipsters sit on my body the one size up gives me the comfort and fit that looks better for my body. If I stick with my regular-size panty, I feel like the hipster can give me more of a muffin top look and give my bottom a weird crease. Going up one size made me change my love/hate relationship with hipsters into a love/love relationship. These are great for low-waist pants and shorts. You can also wear these with other bottoms that are not super tight-fitting.

High Waisted Brief Panty

We are moving on to the high-waisted brief. These are NOT the granny panties from the past, like you may think. A great color high-waisted brief can be the biggest confidence booster this side of town! Seriously, if you want to feel like a bad B*tch, get yourself a pair of seamless high-waisted briefs and wear them proudly! High-waisted briefs are one of the most comfortable panties you can get. They look and feel great in almost every body style. They are full coverage while also accentuating your curves and your butt. The high waist will make you feel more secure, and they help to smooth out unevenness in dresses and skirts. You can wear these with any high-waisted bottoms or lower waist with a tucked-in top. These are a dream for sleeping in. No bunching and wedgie picking through the night.

Boyshorts Panty

Last but not least, the boyshorts. The boyshorts are all about comfort. They are inspired by the classic men’s boxer briefs but much shorter and made for a woman’s curves. Boyshorts can be worn in place of some shaper wear. They can be butt-lifting, giving you a round sculpted look. They are full coverage front and back with full sides that are oh-so comfortable! Boyshorts are perfect when wearing a shorter skirt or dress. Where a thong would leave you feeling exposed to a gust of wind, boyshorts will give you confidence that you are covered even if you have a wardrobe malfunction. It happens to the best of us!

No matter which panty you choose as your favorite, just know you should leave a little room for each style in your top drawer. Don’t limit yourself to the same old style and the same old size you always buy. Step out of your comfort zone, and you will find even more confidence in your outfits and lifestyle.
