Best Tactical Wallets You Should Consider Getting
I know the coolest things you can buy at a military surplus store because it's the most affordable place near my home to go clothes shopping. So, I spend plenty of time chatting with the employees and some of the military vets who hang out around there. They're always telling me what I need to get, and since I'm always trying to impress my son Jarret and we regularly go camping, I ended up buying one of the best tactical wallets around. It wasn't an easy choice because there were so many wallets in the running! But, being one of the best everyday tactical essentials, I had to get my hands on one.

Military Science Fiction Authors You Should Be Reading
The military and science fiction genres have exploded with high-quality content in recent years. There have been critically acclaimed military movies such as American Sniper and Dunkirk, and the same could be said for sci-fi, with Interstellar and District 9. Don't even get me started on the number of successful TV shows that have come from these genres. Even if I just consider this past decade alone, I would be writing all day.

Soft Orders
Soon we will discover how drastically or minimally our lives will change, depending on where they decide to send you. To be honest, it's not like our every wish and need will be met at our convenience. But there is a small hope within me that somehow, even if I could pack a toothbrush and make a weekend trip to be with you, then it would be a literal dream. Yet in the midst of the chaos that we have surfed through since we had a talk about your decision, there is no denying that we have gained strength through the wait and hope through the silence. Months without contact besides the words scrawled quickly on a piece of flip notebook paper undeniably catalyzes the appreciation I have for your affection, even when you are forced to fit within some shell of existence they make for you while you are there. Ironically, I believe this kind of emotional turmoil I have experienced along the way has beautifully wrecked all of my expectations of what our lives would look like and has been replaced with an entire world map of possibilities.

The Worlds Largest Thermonuclear device: The Tsar Bomb
The Tsar Bomb was, and still remains, the largest thermonuclear weapon ever created. It’s production began in July of 1961, ordered by Soviet premier Nikita Khrushchev, who originally wanted a 100 megaton bomb to be built and tested as a testament to the Soviet technical strength and military might. This order for construction came only a few months before the moratorium (the suspension of all nuclear testing by both the USSR and the USA by a legally non-binding agreement that can be revoked at any time) was revoked. As geopolitical tensions rose, the Soviets needed a way to strike fear into the hearts of Europe and the USA. The solution was the Tsar Bomb. October came and political leaders from all sides pleaded with the Soviets to not test the bomb. President Kennedy even made the accusation that the test was for political gain and had no real military application. The test proceeded on schedule despite fears of burning a hole in the atmosphere and contrary to the wishes of economists, politicians, and scientists. The Tsar Bomb test was successful in elevating levels of fear and unease in Europe. So what is this bomb's history? How was it made? What were the risks? And why was it made?

What to Expect While Your Boyfriend Is at Army Basic Training
So your boyfriend has joined the Army. By putting name to paper, he has committed the next four, six, eight, or maybe even ten years of his life to serving his country. Maybe he has already left, or maybe you're desperately trying to spend every last minute with him before he does. Watching my boyfriend swear in before being immediately whisked away to catch a flight to Fort Jackson terrified me. I had no idea what to expect in the next two and a half months. Suddenly, the man I had seen almost every single day for the last two years was gone, and I had to learn a new normal.

Best Tactical Belts That Keep You from Losing Your Stuff. Top Story - May 2018.
Belts are important for most situations. I need a belt just to keep my pants from falling down, let alone for when I'm on a rescue mission or in the field. Belts are important for most service members due to their reliability to hold items that could potentially save your life. Tactical belts are just as important as other military accessories because of their ability to hold flashlights, water, or weapons around your waist.

Best Tactical Gloves to Protect Your Hands
You may say to yourself: "I don't need them," and that's all well and good until you catch a splinter on one of the several different climbing walls, or burn the inside of your palm on any ropes and ladders amid intense training. I thought the same damn unfortunate idea when first being shipped to basic, and boy do I wish I had one of these with me my first weeks. "It was hell" would be an understatement, to say the least, but there's a silver lining to my mistake: warning you all not to do the same (and, in the process, discovering for myself the best gloves to save my pretty hands from harm).
