A reflection of my life
Reflections of my life was a Vietnam era song sung by the Marmalades. It was one of my favorite songs and still is. This song states that moonlight to sunrise that there are reflections of my life. But as I have aged I too am beginning to reflect on my life and what it has been. I am sixty years old, but the artist singing this song wrote it when he was fifteen.

Best time to book flights for Christmas
Christmas is the day of festivity in the Christian people group across the globe, celebrated on Saturday Dec 25, 2021, and checking itself both as a period of hallowed action and the strictness. The Christian day is likewise one of the yearly events inseparable from business just as the social wonder. Had I known that the city I was stationed in is where my German ancestors hailed from, I would have spent more time learning about them.

Remembering 9/11
Those of us who are old enough to remember have our stories about 9/11, and we have all read or heard countless recollections. It is a time we will never forget, when the heart of our nation came under attack by radical Islamists and the price was thousands of lives lost and millions of lives changed… forever. This is my story. I was a Second Class Petty Officer in the United States Navy, serving aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier, USS George Washington. After twenty years, I can say with a certainty that I cannot recall every little detail of the 24 hours I’m about to write of, but the feelings I experienced in those hours will be with me, will haunt me, to the end of my days.
