You Might Be An ENFJ Personality Type If...
MBTI Thoughts

1. You see patterns in things around you.
This is a broad one. Many “NF” and “NT” types will also see patterns in their environment pretty quickly. ENFJ’s may see a pattern in human behavior quicker than other people who are not this type though. There is a motive radar that they possess in order to get a read on people. They have quite an interesting ability to discern other people’s patterns or habits.
2. You’re almost always ready to give gifts to people.
The ENFJ’s that I’ve come across all seem so thoughtful and ready to give gifts, cards, or whatever they can in order to make someone smile.
3. You have a lot of friends.
ENFJ’s can tend to have a lot of friends in their circle. It can sometimes be difficult for them to keep up with them all the time but they do tend to have a gift with communicating with many different types of people around them.
4. Compassion comes to you naturally.
ENFJ’s impress me with how quickly they feel compassion for people, complete strangers even. It’s such a beautiful gift but they sometimes have boundary issues. This type of personality is like a magnet to people who are hurting. They are ready to extend amazing amounts of support and compassion to anyone that is hurting or in need.
5. You are very talkative but you need time to process previous conversations.
ENFJ's appear to spend a lot of time rethinking what they say to other people and what has been said to them. ENFJ’s are highly word-oriented. The meaning of verbal language is taken to heart by them. It makes sense why many ENFJ’s enjoy writing or giving speeches.
6. You love being organized.
This one is also very broad because many personality types love to be organized. What I want to focus on with this point is that ENFJ’s will specifically be organized with their hobbies or what they’re most passionate about. Whether it’s organizing their music, or books, or something else that they collect, they tend to pride themselves in their specific way of organizing their space.
7. Sometimes you fall into over-helping others.
ENFJ’s are sometimes intense. They get intense when they try to over help people around them. It can sometimes feel a bit stifling to other people even though the ENFJ really means well. If you’re interacting with someone with this personality type, and you feel a bit overwhelmed by their attempts to help, then sometimes it’s okay to ask for some space or time to think about how exactly you need help in the first place.
8. You really love music and likely listen to it all day.
Most ENFJ’s will love music. They may be musicians themselves or they may just have music playing often. They specifically tend to like music that has deep meaning and that evokes strong emotions.
9. You have a lot of love to give to everyone around you.
ENFJ’s love people. They just enjoy seeing other people thrive and helping them thrive. Genuinely, they seek ways to help other people became the best versions of themselves. Most of the time, they will not have ulterior motives either. It’s really wild how much an ENFJ will give and do for a stranger on the side of the road. It’s beautiful to see the type of love that they extend, but I also find myself thinking that sometimes I feel like ENFJ’s need extra guardian angels or something in order to protect them from being taken advantage of by people who tend toward using them for the wrong reasons.
10. You have a habit of staying awake too late.
I think this can happen for many people of all personalities, however the reason that the ENFJ is awake late is probably because they are talking to someone or several friends that they want to catch up with. Or, they may stay awake late in order to work on a project that is going to be turned into a gift for a family member or friend.
