What exactly is Overthinking and its causes?
Overthinkers mostly worry in their head about those events, which are not sure to happen in future.

Very Good morning to all of you. Let’s get started and learn about Overthinking. What overthinking is? Which situations cause it? How can a person overcome it? What do you need to do for this?
We will look through various aspects and its cure too. ‘You can relate this article with your daily life’, I tried to write and merge information in that manner. So, Without any further delay. Let’s continue.
What exactly is Overthinking?
The question arises, which state of mind can you consider as overthinking? Basically Overthinking is such a state of mind in which a person is not aware of his thoughts, emotions, and mental activity going on. He sits and spends dozens of minutes thinking and thinking. Exactly like a roller coaster without control.
We can find people like this in our society or relation or maybe you are an overthinker. If you are, there is no need to worry, just read it till last.
Overthinkers mostly ask themselves questions of self-doubts. They worry in their head about events, which are not sure to happen in future.
If I conclude this section, I would say an overthinker is a person who lives in his head, not even in his body. All he thinks is important is his head and his thought process.
Causes of Overthinking
Now we can look at the main causes of overthinking. Let’s know these points.
Non-involvement with society/family
A person who was shy or hesitant to ask for something or to talk about something, comes to the state of overthinking. Because of zero or very less involvement with other people he has to live alone. His mindset can be like, no one likes me, I have no skill, I know nothing, or many self-doubts like this.
2. Many self-doubts
A person who lives most of the day thinking of self-doubts, will surely lose his/her confidence and belief to do many things. These self-doubts not only weaken our mentality but also our physicality. Self-doubts are just thoughts of mind that clashes with a person’s beliefs, confidence, and interest repeatedly from time to time. And when these clashes happen, a person’s overthinking process gets much bigger because of worrying that it is not going to an end.
3. Leisure time
When a person has more than sufficient leisure time and does not have any work to do. Then his thinking boosts up to find something. But his beliefs and interests come in the between. And a process starts up. A person does the work in his imagination and eats fruits in imagination what he wants to perform in reality. It is truly said, leisure time and a vacant minds are houses of demons. What are those demons- our thoughts, when these become out of control.
4. Not having enough control
Many times it’s necessary and a demand of time to think on various topics or specific matters. But some people think and go with the flow. And in the outcome, they find a lot time has been spent in thinking or overthinking. Only because of not having enough control to think up to a limit. People believe if they continue to think endlessly they will definitely find a solution. And it works sometimes, but sometimes. They should remember and learn for their goodness that our mind works well when it is fresh and linear.
5. Being stressed and anxious
These are also byproducts of overthinking and the causes too. These all three create a circus in which the person’s head goes on and goes on. An anxious person overthinks and becomes stressed and the more he overthinks the more he becomes stressed and anxious. It destinies nowhere and feels like a circus. Nor does the person seem to have any meaningful result in this process. Very soon he wants to get rid of it but the only tool that he keeps using is thinking, which is also a circus.
6. Lack of Knowledge
If a person finds out he is in a prison state, he tries to overcome. But without a proper understanding and proper knowledge, nobody can overcome this state. So, what is that knowledge? Knowledge does not mean reading a hundred or thousand books. Knowledge arises in your mind or heart. It is your understanding of life, your body, and your mind. I don’t want to be spiritual here but it’s factual and like that. When you understand something with every possible aspect and your linkage with that, you can consciously come to a level where you can easily drop overthinking.
