A hazy confusion of sadness and white wet, foggy mist surrounds a man coated in masses of dirt and bloody scars. The only clothing he chooses to wear is a beaten and dusty, nearly ragged black cloth suit. This ruined man faces a crippling task in front of him: a large, ominous, ice-cold body of water. He stands on top of a small piece of rock and grass on a small island where he holds himself, as he looks up ahead at the goal the ruined man wishes to reach; he breathes in the wet freezing air around him. The ambition he seeks is a bright burning bulb of pure light past the deep frigid river of water; the man takes a step, finally descending into the icy body of dark water. The feeling of the lake surrounding him fills him with chills. They stab into his body like daggers.

The man shuts his teary, pained eyes and grits his bloody teeth as they begin to swing his arms forward and kick his feet out to allow himself to swim through the frozen dagger filled river of hardship; one pinnacle thought on his mind the burning light. He uses his arms to cut and slash through the waves of ice-cold water, assaulting his way toward his goal of the pure blazing light. The man of ruins forces his eyes back open continuing to fight through the blades of dark water. Breath quickens within the ruined man as he continues the rapid assault of the ominous water; the brutal and continuing battle rushes forward until a sudden immense power of water crashes down onto him. It begins to attempt to drown him, lungs quickly starting to fill up with frost-filled shards of the river's mighty waves of harshness. It's, fury. The ruined man's eyes quickly begin to shut back closed, no light, just pure blackness, an empty void filled with darkness.

The air begins to get ripped away from the ruined man as sheets of ice begin to gather around above him, blocking his path. He begins to sink deeper and deeper into the cold lonely frostbiting depths below him until flashes of the burning light start to engage with the man's flat-lining mind trying to summon and stir something within him.

Just before the final breath could escape, the ruined man began to rush back up using the kick of his feet below him to push him up to the ice trying to block his path, and he closed up his hand into a tight and unbreakable fist. The man begins to strike at the ice above him as he tries to hold onto what little breath there was. The strikes continue to become more and more filled with flaming, unfiltered aggression until finally, he smashes through his eyes, forcing them back open, and the air begins to enter into his nearly crushed lungs. He feels himself fill back up as he creams with an unfathomed intensity. The newfound uncaged strength begins to be used to swim and fight his way back forward, toward his goal ahead. His arms once again being used to cut and slash through the cold and sharp river.

The land of the burning light is within reach. The breathing man begins to grab onto the ground the dirt with dear life, his hands shaking with needles of cold still trapped inside himself. He pulls himself forward and begins to crawl himself out of the lake with heavy and hardened breaths. He chugs along with his newfound gusts using what he has of the newfound strength leftover; it's finally in front of him; the light they feel the warmth starts to bathe him falling to his knees as he basks in a new brighter, blazing, rebirth.
