The Link Between Narcissism and Delusions

From Fantasy to Reality: Understanding the Progression from Narcissistic Fantasies to Delusions

What makes narcissists converse in salads?

They think in salads, which is why.

Narcissists think in salads, but why?

It’s because they have erroneous beliefs.

Why is the narcissist unaware that they are the issue?

They are unable to comprehend anything. They have lies in their brains. The majority of their thoughts and beliefs are untrue. The majority of their beliefs are untrue. The majority of their beliefs are untrue. The majority of their impressions are incorrect. Their interpretations are often incorrect. Their whole worldview is erroneous. As a result, they fabricate a new narrative.

It is impossible for lies to lead to truth or awareness. They can only lead to more egregious lies. Insight cannot come from delusions.

Let’s demonstrate by looking at the detrimental effects of lies on thinking and the realization of anything.

Untruth: Cats don’t eat meat.

The issue is that my cat refuses to consume its food.

Imagine someone who is so naive that they are unable to be convinced that cats are vegetarians. Therefore, it is impossible to address the issue of their cat refusing to consume its vegetarian food. Giving it meat-based nourishment is the straightforward answer, but this particular deluded mentality is completely incapable of doing it.

Let’s take an example that is more representative of what you could encounter with a narcissist.

You: Assure me that you will return home for supper by 6:00 p.m.

Narcissist: All right.

Long after dinnertime, the narcissist returns around three in the morning. You take the narcissist on.

You: What became of our agreement that I would return by 6 p.m. yesterday?

Narcissist: However, you said that having fun is crucial and that I’m welcome to return at any moment.

You never mentioned that, of course. Imagine two different situations, though: if the narcissist heard you say “6pm” and purposefully disregarded it, it is a lie; if, in their deluded worldview, they truly heard you say “any time,” it is a deception.

Although the second scenario — the deluded mind that hears “any time” — is the worst, it also better captures the way narcissists often think. They have some kind of psychotic thought process. They have a faulty way of thinking. Everything they had thought about turned out to be untrue.

A person who believes lies is incapable of realizing anything.

You must first have accurate and truthful knowledge (i.e., 6pm) in order to realize things. Even someone who has lied (i.e., disregarded 6 p.m.) is capable of thinking more clearly than someone who has delusions (i.e., at any moment).

That is the amazing ability of self-deception or dishonest reframing to ruin oneself and reality.

Narcissists are similar to the aforementioned circumstance, but ten thousand times more severe. The majority of their beliefs are untrue. The majority of what they remember is untrue. The majority of their impressions are untrue. Nearly all of their beliefs are untrue, such as

I never did anything wrong, and everything I remember is always the truth (i.e., “I don’t understand why you are complaining, I always remembered you as a happy child, and I gave you a wonderful childhood”). Whatever I believe I heard you say is what you actually said (i.e., “come back any time”; a narcissist tells everyone you said something ridiculous), and everything I said or believe makes perfect sense (i.e., “you never did not say 6pm,” and actually, “any time” isn’t what you didn’t say, so I just thought I’d do what you said and enjoy myself as long as possible).

Gaslighting is only living in a fake world and forcing that false reality on other people, whereas projection is merely forcing their lies onto you under the pretense that they properly depicted the real you.

Then there are the more difficult-to-explain lies that are more acceptable or culturally acceptable in particular cultures, such as

If they are married, it is not rape; if she is a prostitute; if parents beat their children; if one spouse beats the other; if siblings or best friends steal from you; if I borrow something; if they are wealthy, they won’t notice because they can’t keep track of so many assets; if I steal a small amount, it isn’t theft because pilfering small items isn’t theft.

All parents love their children completely, thus nothing they do is abusive. Therefore, it is not unfair or unjust if someone in a position of power did it, such as the principal, a police officer, or a priest.

Narcissists are unwell and only want assistance to return to normal; they never intend to hurt others.

Anything spoken or done out of rage is inadvertent and shouldn’t be used to blame that person. If someone has a good reputation, the evil deeds you accuse them of could not have occurred, and I can then deny any harm I may have caused.

If someone believes an untruth, it prevents the equivalent truth (for example, vegetarian cats prohibit carnivorous cats). One truth is prevented for every untruth. Fifty equivalent facts are prevented by fifty lies. Truth is mostly impossible for a mind that is primarily made up of lies. Narcissists go about obstructing their own truth and stopping others from bringing it out. They are relics of deception.

Furthermore, as thinking is only an honest manipulation, extrapolation, interpolation, deduction, induction, etc. of truth, it is incapable of thinking since it lacks the capacity for truth.

A mind must be composed of honest matter over a particular level in order to be capable of thinking. You have conceptual psychosis if you go below that line. A psychedelic experience is sensory psychosis. Salads, however, conceptual insanity is delusion. In addition to their constant delusions, narcissists’ thinking involves manipulation, extrapolation, interpolation, deduction, induction, and a variety of other things that aren’t real in the first place, such as salads and bulldust.

Therefore, whatever inference they draw from a lie only results in a derivative of that lie.

They are also unreasonable and illogical, in addition to the fact that the majority of their beliefs and ideas are untrue.

The manipulation of thoughts is the subject of logic and reason. It is referred to as intellectual honesty when they are handled appropriately. The foundation of the Scientific Method is strict intellectual integrity. The key is reproducibility.

Since the rules of reality are unchangeable, intellectual integrity and the honest manipulation of ideas are essential. Therefore, the key to comprehending, interpreting, and forecasting reality is coherence, order, and the finding of fundamental laws.

Realization and true understanding are unachievable when a mind manipulates concepts that are led and informed by pure cognitive distortion.

When you combine it with inaccurate information in the form of erroneous memories and beliefs, you end up with a mind that is incapable of realizing its potential.

Why is the narcissist unaware that they are the issue?

A narcissist’s mind is incapable of understanding any kind of truth, whether logical truth (i.e., intellectual honesty against pure cognitive distortion) or conceptual truth (i.e., truth versus lying).

And it began in early infancy and worked its way there, one lie at a time.
