The Hidden Hatred of Narcissists: Why Humanity Is Their Target

Individuals that are narcissistic tend to keep a nasty little secret from everyone else.

They despise a human race.

This is not a superstitious idea at all. Hatred is a trait of narcissists.

Who is it that they despise?

Is it just those who have mistreated them that they show hatred for?

Not at all; it would be way too nice, fair, and unhateful for my liking.

Everyone is the target of their hatred, which is not only pervasive but also vague and unfocused. The reason for this is because such a blind hate is not just unfair but also illogical and irrational.

Their animosity is misguided and serves no purpose. One may say that this is the essence of malevolent envy. Pure hate for the sake of hatred. Haters characterize narcissists.

Therefore, the second question that has to be asked is, why do you not often see narcissists speaking out about their hate for all of humanity?

Given that narcissists are not inherently dumb. This would be a public disclosure of their actual nature, as well as their identity that they have been keeping hidden.

It is important to keep in mind that narcissists constantly operate under the guise of a cloak and dagger attitude, and they always wear masks. There is no hiding place for narcissists.

Furthermore, the most prominent mask that they wear is that they do not despise people.

On the other hand, all of that narcissistic hate of every other will has to be directed someplace. Therefore, where does it go?

Lightning rods are the target of all of this activity. The hate that they feel may be directed on anybody who is genuine to them. From the perspective of the narcissist, a genuine human is someone who looks to be the most like to actual life and the least similar to imagination.

To the narcissist, humanity and the vast majority of other individuals seem to be representations of cardboard cutouts in two dimensions. Rather of being actual, they are notions, imaginations, appliances, things, background scenery, and stage props. They are an illusion.

However, due to the roles that they play in the lives of the narcissist, there are some individuals who stand out as the most genuine to the narcissist. In most cases, these duties consist of being a husband or a parent.

Therefore, the spouse or kid is the unlucky lightning rod of the narcissist’s sadism since, to the narcissist, they are the most genuine human being in the world. Everyone else in the world is a walking cardboard cutout, and as a result, you should not provoke their sadistic instincts as much as you would want to. But this living flesh and blood, actual person in the shape of their spouse or kid, unquestionably seems real, and as a result, it arouses their sadistic impulses in a way that cannot be avoided, especially regularly.

All people are hated by narcissists. It is not possible to differentiate the genuine essence of a narcissist from that of a tyrant, such as Pol Pot, Saddam Hussein, Stalin, Mao Zedong, or Hitler. It is to exert dominance over everyone, to humiliate anybody they want, and to torment without fear of repercussions.

Narcissists, on the other hand, cannot afford to put this information out into the public domain (at least not until they have successfully risen to power).

Additionally, the majority of individuals are not genuine to the narcissist, which means that they do not stimulate and stir the sadistic impulses as profoundly.

However, the narcissist considers their spouse and children to be the most authentic people in the world. These individuals, therefore, are a representation of humanity to the narcissist. And this presents a challenge.

The narcissist exhibits their disdain of humanity by directing it on the individuals who, in their eyes, are representative of humanity: their spouse and their children. After all, how many of you can honestly argue that your own children and spouse are not the most important things in your life? In addition, they are the whole universe to the narcissist. Except for the fact that the narcissist has a peculiar approach to dealing with the outside world. They have desires to torment it. The situation is quite similar to what occurs to a nation once a dictator is elected to high office.

You are treated so poorly because, in the eyes of the narcissist, you are human; you are a representation of mankind. He or she views other people as cardboard cutouts; they are not human. They are given a free pass.

Cutouts made of cardboard are acceptable to narcissists. You are the only real-life manifestation of humanity that they are unable to endure. Through you, they are able to glimpse the whole of mankind. For the same reason that they despise mankind, they despise you.
