The early morning
Early in the morning, he was called up by his mother. I am a little dissatisfied, usually, I always have to stay in bed a little longer. But when I vaguely see the mother's tight face, I seem to understand what a moment, the heart faint trembling.
A few barking dogs suddenly came from the village, and I sat up straight.
Mother usually dotes on me. But now she looked me in the eye and said in a voice I had never heard before, and it was so serious that I was scared. "Let me ask you, do you not want to be here anymore?"
I moved my lips and bowed my head. I thought I knew why my mother had come. It was to teach me a lesson. Because just yesterday, my mother's sensible daughter, a sweet little cotton-padded jacket, actually learned to play truant because she yearned for a life in the city. After being rejected many times, she wanted to force her parents to give in.
I thought I was supposed to be taught a lesson by my mother. And I am very grateful to my mother, because when she found me, she did not beat me in front of so many people, but pulled me home. My mother was angry, as could be seen by my red wrist and her swollen eyes. But the mother said nothing, turned and went into the house, and did not come out all day.
I never dared look my mother in the eye. I was afraid to see the deep disappointment in my mother's eyes.
The dogs in the village finally stopped barking, but it seemed quieter around, I even heard the distant cicadas.
I finally could not help but raise my head, my mother's silence let me not know what to do, so I decided to ask for my mother's forgiveness first.
But my mother interrupted me as I was about to exit. She just asked me again if I wanted to live in the city.
I froze for a moment, then took a deep breath and said firmly to my mother, "Yes! I always wanted to study in the city." After a long time, my mother nodded slowly, and I heard her say one word with great determination: Yes. I was so surprised that I looked into my mother's eyes, and found that her deep eyes were churning with unknown emotions. She stopped looking at me and turned away from the room.
Looking at my mother's bent back as she bore the burden of life, I felt a pang of bitterness in my heart. I understood what my mother meant, but I couldn't cheer up.
I stood up, struggling to follow, but the house was long gone. I rushed out anxiously, staring at my parents sitting on the steps in the sun, leaning on each other.
Mother looked at the small vegetable garden in front of the house for a long time, silent, only tightly knit brows show the pain of the master. Father in the side quietly comforts: "I know you loathe to give up, lived for decades, already have feelings, or we don't go, maybe she is just a temporary interest? Besides, if I can't find a job there, how can I live?" Mother shook her head. "Which of us doesn't understand her stubborn temper? I wouldn't put her off for me. No matter how hard, and good to her, I will fight for her. It's just... It's just I can't put it down here, really..."
In the morning light, the tears in her mother's eyes crept down, caressed her thin cheeks, and landed on the concrete steps. Looking at his mother's trembling shoulders, I could not help but turn my back and let the tears come out of my eyes...
I will never forget, that morning, there is a great mother, in front of her children swallowed all the pain and helplessness, but sat on the steps secretly crying appearance......
