Little Black Book: Found
Anny had tapped the stop button instead of the snooze, so she hadn’t been able to pull herself out of the dream. She had been walking down a fluorescent hallway, it’s fuchsia light forcing her to squint as she passed through a door into a blinding - what - emptiness? She couldn’t remember. Suddenly, she was in that one dream place, which she had visited many nights. It was as if she were in her own terrarium, tall and narrow, where she climbed up a lush, tree-carpeted cliff.

Fool's Gold
He stepped into the ground. Off the verge of the unknown. With a knapsack full of nothing, turning his back on the Universe, The Fool thought he had reversed what was once pushed forward: Time. But the roses were rooted back to the grass. The golden sky and the sun came down, and the moon moved up into a dark night. The engravings were emptied, the money turned into dust, and the little black book closed back.

Again I am an Infant
It was strange to come back home. To see everything had remained exactly how I had left it. It was like no time had passed at all. The leaves on the trees never fell. The snow never melted. It was never time for bed and the teacher never blew the whistle for recess. Yet time had passed and I hadn’t seen these walls in years. It rained and it snowed and the wind blew and the clocks all ticked and now I was back where I started. The clocks were all still ticking, ticking faster than I’d like them to. At that moment the clock was ticking down to the moment that one of my parents came up and asked me what was taking so long, so I started in the closet.

It was a dull, overcast Autumn evening, a perfect day for a stroll before dinner. The gentleman went to his favorite coffee shop to pick up his usual, then crossed the street to sit in the sunshine as he drank. He had just settled down when something blocked his sunlight. He peered up at a rather tall man standing above him. The stranger smiled brightly at him, holding out a bag from the local sandwich shop.

Black Iris
I have always hated the outdoors; the bugs, the smell, the dirt, and the never-ending trees. I used to consider myself to be a pretty fearless person or as close to it as one can be, but when it came to a hike in the middle of nowhere, I had rather been sleeping next to the rustic hearth keeping warm. That wish will never come true thanks to a bet my friends and I made, I had to begin a long and useless trek into the middle of the woods to find an elusive flower called the Balck Iris. No matter how much I complain, I was actually a little intrigued, I have never felt so drawn to a plant I have only seen online before. Hours went by unnoticed due to the trance I was in and just as the sun was starting to go down, with no trail to follow I walked aimlessly deeper into the immeasurable overgrowth.

A Cosmic Desire
A little black book lies unassumingly on a dark and neglected corner shelf in the library of the soul. All humans know by instinct that it is some sort of Pandora’s box, supposedly containing myriad rules and regulations for living life on Earth. Some say it holds the sentiments and laws of enjoyment written in forms of lyric and poetry, although, the hope from which is unfortunately overshadowed by the chilling red ink of cautionary tales passed on from generation to generation. All our ancestors wanted was the best, too, right? Surely, it must then be wise for you to just heed the babble and jabber of those that came before.

Sonder
Salman's Shop, an odd cafe that served tea and coffee with quite peculiar dishes for the guests that sought sustenance from it. Kinds you wouldn't ever order with coffee or any of the teas sold there. Dishes like rotted fish gut fettuccine, jelly moose nose pudding, and pickled camel cream with lots of other unfitting alternatives.
