In a road trip Dave and his family were headed to a camping site to spend a holiday after a great business deal which had met a great success.

From London heading to the north of Scotland meant that there will be a great distance to cover, not mentioning the very poor weather that was expected to become better the next day, Dave had to take regular naps and rests along the way to cover the whole trip, but instead, Dave thought of resting after they eventually arrive to save time on the road, and to take a long sleep to start the day fresh.

after a long way through England, the met dusk in Scotland. miles away from the site, their last challenge was crossing the narrow, curved mountain roads in the dark.

Exhausted Dave was struggling to keep his eyes open, fighting against his eyelids which were seemed to be glued together; because his family were asleep, he did not wish to wake them up by stopping while they are very close to their destination.

The next thing Dave saw when opening his eyes was that the car had crossed the edge and was inevitably in the fall; a long way down to a lake at the end, and in that dark night, Dave knew it was the end.

As the car flipped over and over and over, none of them could see anything, except of receiving the hit every time the car flipped; eventually the car had stopped flipping after landing in the dark, deep water of the lake.

The second thing that Dave had realised of all that happened was that the car was into the darkness of the lake, but he wasn't able to rescue his family, nor he could even lift his hand, because after the nineteen flips that the car had made, almost every single bone of his was broken.

while sinking, Dave looked at his family and cried his heart out as he couldn't rescue them, they did not appear alive. Sinking into his grief and the water at same, Dave found no escape but trying to remember his moments with his family before his last.

The only and most important family he ever had, his wife Lynda, who had supported him through the good and the bad, and never failed to do so; his two sons, Jobe and Ismail, who were very talented and have succeeded in everything they have endeavored; and his daughter, cyrena, who was ever beautiful and smart. were lost in that unforgettable day.

Sinking towards the bottom of the lake, Dave couldn't think of anything but to let himself drown and end his misery, with his eyes wide open the next thing he saw in the middle of that darkness was the light torches of a bunch of divers who came in rescue.

Dave's last thought at that moment was: "after I lost everything? after I gave up everything? why? let me be."

THE END.
