Yes, Social Media Does Have Positive Aspects
In 2006, when I was posting cringe-worthy selfies on MySpace and Facebook, I never thought that social media would become such an integral part of my adult life. I currently have 13.6k followers on Instagram, and 25.8k followers on Twitter.

About 1 in 8 children feel anxious, it is a natural emotion, but having responses in place can provide support. There are practical tips you can put in place to support anxious learners on a daily basis, from a lay point of view. Changing your way of thinking about anxiety, fear, and worry is not a therapy device and does not replace the role of counsellors or therapy sessions. But over time you can form an automatic response routine.

Goodbye Letter
I lived in Ontario in a very toxic environment. A dark cloud constantly loomed over my family’s house. I never felt loved growing up and it has affected my relationships today with my immediate family. After being emotionally abused basically my entire life, I created a noose in my closet September of 2018. I really could not live anymore and I so badly wanted all the pain to be gone. I couldn’t deal with life every day anymore. It was so exhausting and far too difficult. I wasn’t even living my life; I was just existing. I didn’t see the point of staying anymore.

Mental Health Memes: Helpful or Harmful?
As a person living with bipolar disorder, social anxiety and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, life can feel a bit chaotic. While watching a documentary on Netflix about people dealing with mysterious illnesses, my son looked at me and said said, “Now what those people went through was traumatic. Not what you went through with your brain surgeries mom.” Ouch. His words stung, but didn’t surprise me.
