"Human Weakness" Reading Experience
"Human Weaknesses," by Dale Carnegie.

This holiday season, I read The Weakness of Humanity, written by Dale Carnegie, known as "the greatest spiritual teacher of the 20th century." I have browsed most of the chapters and read some of the materials carefully.
Dale Carnegie is an American writer, and The Weakness of Human Nature is his most successful inspirational classic. In this work, he uses sociological and psychological knowledge to conduct a profound discussion and analysis of human nature. The work grew from a short speech, and after 15 years of experimentation and research, has grown into such a beloved book for adults on how to understand people, how to get along with them, and how to make People love you, how to make yourself successful, etc. The Carnegie Foundation has previously conducted a survey, and the study showed that less than 15% of a person's high salary is due to his technical knowledge, while the other 85% is due to his interpersonal relationships, that is, His personal qualities and talents come into play. Therefore, Carnegie believes that the greatest purpose of education is not to impart knowledge, but to teach people to act, and "The Weakness of Human Nature" is a book to teach people to act.
Reading this book, I am often assimilated by the author's point of view. For example, the author believes that it is not good to use "criticism" frequently in interpersonal communication, because no matter what wrongs anyone does, and no matter how serious his mistakes are, they will not blame themselves in most situations. Human weakness. So really wise people don't simply criticize each other, but try to understand each other and figure out why they do what they do. People do not easily understand other people's criticism, but almost everyone criticizes others, but the superiors criticize the subordinates face to face, and the subordinates criticize the superiors behind their backs, but no matter what form of criticism, it will bring people uncomfortable.
So how to avoid discomfort? Carnegie said in the book the scientist Darwin's method: (Darwin already knew that he would be attacked by religious circles when he wrote "The Theory of Evolution") It is not good to wait for others to criticize us or our work, we have to become Our harshest critics, we identify our weaknesses and improve them before others have a chance to accuse us. To be your own harshest critic is to be self-critical. In the language of the moment, it is to constantly reflect on your own behavior, find out what you are not doing enough, and improve before others find out. Reflect more and make fewer mistakes; make fewer mistakes, you will be less criticized by others, less criticized, you will be less hurt, less hurt will be more happy, so you can form a virtuous circle, so that you can live in joy every day .
Carnegie also believes that the first element of success is to love your work, or to do the work you love. Looking back on my half-year teaching career, I chose the teaching profession because of my love. Since I chose, I have to be responsible for this job, I have to take on the responsibilities of a teacher, and I have to be worthy of entrusting my children to me. Parents, no matter how annoying or tired you are, you have to keep going. Negativeness and complaining are useless and will only bring endless troubles to yourself. So half of my teaching career has left me with many perfect memories. I must be happy too, because I have mastered the first element of success.
This book taught me some basic principles of life and the way of survival, but I still need to study and understand in my future life. I also hope that my sharing can bring you the necessary thinking.
