A strong heart is more important than anything else

Philosophy of life

By Matthew A LamPublished 3 years ago 6 min read

As the saying goes, things follow the heart, and the situation is created by the heart.

If your heart is fragile, a little bit of life is not as good as it should be, will become a mountain that crushes you, carrying the weight forward, and must be physically and mentally exhausted.

If you are strong inside, even greater difficulties, like mud and sand in the sea, in your world can not make a ripple.

People who live a happy life may not be lucky and capable, but because they have a strong heart.

Reject emotional internal consumption

Emotions are like water, stable emotions are a trickle, nourishing everything; unstable emotions are roaring waves, which may instantly drown everything around.

Do not underestimate the impact of emotions on life, many people are often caught in a kind of emotional internal conflict.

Work was criticized by the leadership, feel aggrieved, constantly recall, always feel that the other party is deliberately suppressing themselves; life and friends have a conflict, keep recalling that quarrel, grasping the other party's mistakes do not release.

If a person's energy is consumed in guessing others to go, long-term in a very tired state, they will not be able to perceive the joy of life.

Over time, even if the day did not do anything, will still feel very tired.

This tiredness is called emotional internal consumption. Do not let yourself go, is in self-consumption.

If these negative emotions do not get the right and timely relief, they will become more and more reckless, and finally only make their mood more and more depressed.

Many worries, are because of obsession with the small things in front of you, in the subconscious to the less desirable side of the magnified.

To a small thing and fury, for a misunderstanding and deep sadness, for criticism and self-doubt, for their benefit, not to help.

Try to jump out of the vortex of negative emotions, let the light shine in, and the gloom will be swept away.

Very often, people are not willing to drown in negative emotions but do not know how to come out.

How do you pull out of negativity?

The key thing is to accept your negative emotions.

Many times we think that negative emotions are bad, so we choose to hold them back and hide them, and over time, they eventually explode in one fell swoop.

There is no shame in the fact that everyone has negative emotions.

Try to accept it and then enrich your life. Many of life's troubles come from thinking too much and doing too little.

When one is busy, those miscellaneous thoughts in one's head are gone.

Occasionally going out and exercising, physical health will also lead to mental health.

The world is so wide, don't confine yourself to a corner.

Even if you do produce emotional internal conflict, there is no need to panic, worry, adjust yourself well and get back on the track of positive life.

In life, many of our physical problems are emotional problems.

If life is frustrating and makes you feel miserable, then it's a good idea to let go of distractions, clean out the junk in your heart, and let the sunshine in.

Never afraid of being alone

Life never leaves solitude and exists independently. Loneliness, like a shadow, accompanies us throughout our lives and is a part of our life.

Lin Yutang said, "When you taste loneliness, you will stand outside the hustle and bustle of the world, and you will have nothing to do with the hustle and bustle of the world. There was a time when you thought that your friend who you cherished would be with you on the train of life and would finish the long and lasting journey.

Some people say that liking to be alone is a sign of maturity. Sometimes, some words like to be put in the heart, not no one to talk to, just do not want to say, sometimes even if said, there may not be someone understand, because not all things others can feel the same.

Everyone, there is a corner in the heart, used to put the tired mind, when a person late at night, in the moment of holding their own, only to understand the soul of the home, will be alone after all.

Everyone is alone, in solitude, you walk through the silence, carry through the disappointment, lick through the pain, and slowly learn to be with the quiet.

We have all experienced moments of loneliness: when one goes to work abroad, renting a room, looking for a job and being pitted, crying in the streets in the early morning, how we hope to have a person flashing beside us; when one eats, watches movies and goes shopping, does one also fantasize that if there is another person, life will add what kind of beauty.

Loneliness is not an escape from the world, but a treasure. Only when you have experienced it can you understand that true peace is not to avoid the hustle and bustle of horses and cars, but to cultivate a hedge and plant chrysanthemums in your heart, so you should learn to enrich yourself in loneliness.

Self-reflection and enhancement

Reflection, as I understand it, is to go back and analyze the right and wrong of your words and actions and the success or failure of your actions. In layman's terms, reflection is to look in the mirror and check one's words, actions, and deeds, which is what the ancients called "Jian". As we all know, looking in the mirror, we can know our beauty and ugliness, tall and short, fat and thin, clean and dirty, and so on. By the same token, reflection has the same function. As the old saying goes, "Take the bronze as a guide, you can correct your clothes; take the ancient as a guide, you can know the rise and fall: take people as a guide, you can understand the gains and losses." This is the role of reflection, right? Ordinary people reflect on themselves and can promote the development of an individual career: leaders reflect on themselves and can promote the development of a unit, a region, a country, and even the whole human society.

Reflection is to examine one's thoughts and actions and evaluate them to correct faults. Mencius once said, "A benevolent person is like a shooter; the shooter corrects himself and then sends; sends and does not hit; does not complain about the one who wins, but seeks to find out for himself and he carries on." The benevolent person is also like archery, not to blame for not being able to shoot than their skills, but only from their reasons. Gardner, one of the most influential psychologists of today, emphasized that internal thinking intelligence is a very important intelligence in multiple intelligences. People with strong internal thinking intelligence can understand themselves, and be aware of their inner emotions, intentions, and motivations, as well as self-discipline, self-awareness, and self-esteem to understand their strengths and weaknesses and plan their lives carefully.

However, many people cannot think about themselves. First of all, it is because of "moral ignorance", a lack of understanding of "right and wrong, good and bad", and the inability to recognize what should be done and what should not be done and what should not be done. For example, sometimes we say something without malice, but it makes others unhappy or even hurts them, but we do not know why they are unhappy or hurt.

Self-improvement is not simply about studying to get a higher education, but about improving one's wisdom in all aspects, including knowledge, appearance, attitude, principles of dealing with people, and the ability to feel happiness.

The mark of a person growing up slowly is to be self-aware, self-confident, and self-reliant, to do one's best, and do one's duty.

The three realms of self-improvement.

The first realm is to sharpen oneself in wandering.

The second realm is to persist in dreams in diligence.

The third realm is to feel like when you succeed.

Once self-improvement is fully realized, everything else can be created easily and at will, including money, status, friends, influence, and so on.

The presentation of self-worth is colorful and diverse, and there are many different forms of existence depending on people's understanding. From a sociological point of view, self-worth should not be measured by status, honor, or benefit alone, but by meeting various social needs.

If a person is self-centered in every way, the slightest damage to the skin will blame God and others, simply does not have time to "benefit the country and people", such a person will not have much self-worth. On the contrary, if a person can serve society and others with a strong sense of social responsibility and excellent professional skills, and win the world's wide respect, we say that this is very high self-worth. Society advocates for its members to enhance their self-worth, and the main way to enhance it is to learn.
