Whatever it may be, it will likely sound easy and comfortable.

However, most of these enticing activities have little to no impact on our daily lives.

It's difficult conversations and situations that force you to step outside of your comfort zone that make you more resilient and confident.

Although the ideas below might not seem simple, they are worth considering because they will allow you to live your life on your terms and not according to others' rules.

Changes in your diet are necessary for both the inside and outside.

Your mind is just like how your body is shaped from the food you eat.

You must stop watching, eating, and reading junk if you want more energy, better health, a better outlook, better mood, and calmer thoughts.

You want to feed your body high-quality food and nourish your mind with high quality content.

As bad as a person who only eats pizza and fries, so will the mental state of someone who watches traditional news and scrolls through news feeds.

Unfortunately, your body can't be detached from your mind.

If you don't know how to deal with your mind, you could exercise five times per week and drink green smoothies.

However, the good news is that your mind and body always support one another.

Moving your body is not only good for your waistline, but also for your ability to focus on complex problems and solve them .

Meditation can help you feel calmer and more in control of your body.

Our bodies are amazing, but they can also be complex. There's one rule that will help you live happier and healthier lives: Watch what you eat, listen to what you read, and be careful about the people you surround yourself with. The people and things you surround yourself with can influence your entire life.

It's okay to eat fried food occasionally, but you should avoid doing it constantly.

It's okay to read the news in order to keep up with what's going on around the globe. But if you try to keep up to date constantly, then you will lose your sanity.

Protect your body and mind as they are the foundation for everything else in your life.

Get rid of the junk food and focus on what you eat and how it makes you feel.

This could be your superpower

Setting boundaries is the best and most difficult way to take care yourself.

We are people pleasers. We want everyone to like and respect us. We don't want people to think poorly of us so we won't be rude or different .

Your mental health is far more important than others' opinions.

You should not let others down if staying true to yourself means you have to be true to yourself.

is the only relationship that you will be able to keep forever.

Coworkers and friends can change, as can your partner. No matter what others think of you, you will always go to bed with your thoughts and feelings.

The worst thing for yourself is to live a life filled with regrets and wonder what could've been if you were bold enough to follow your dreams.

Do not settle for less than what you desire.

It doesn't necessarily mean that someone won't give you what your want, but it does not mean that you aren't worthy of it. You don't have to be a tree so you can move on whenever you feel treated badly.

Although I won't claim that this is easy, I can assure you it's worth the effort. There's nothing better than knowing that your voice was heard.

Do this every single week

You have a lot to do. But I want you to add one task to your weekly list. Each week, do one thing which makes you feel uncomfortable.

Most often, the things that we have been procrastinating about for too long are things we should be doing.

Perhaps you are making a call that you have been putting off for too long.

Perhaps it's clearing out your inbox to get rid of unread emails and gain clarity.

Perhaps it's about taking control of your finances and investing a portion of your income.

Perhaps it's a trip to the dentist.

Maybe it's cancelling that ridiculously expensive gym membership that you have been paying for, but never using.

These things are hard to do, even though they are necessary and vital.

It can feel overwhelming to try to do too many of these annoying tasks at once, but it is possible to complete one per week.

You'll feel empowered and in control of your life if you make a habit of only doing one thing that you don't like.

Never stop sharpening your saw

Your greatest asset in the 21st Century is your skillset.

It's your ability learn, re-learn and combine skills in creative ways to help you navigate your life with ease.

Your most important investment, no matter how much you make, lose or have, will always be the one that you put into.

Machines and robots are more efficient than humans at most tasks, replacing the majority of today's workforce.

To be irreplaceable you must challenge yourself, learn new skills and apply them to different situations.

You can learn and adapt faster, which will make it easier to manage changes over the long-term.

Many people find school too boring. They believe that they are done learning and have found their first job after they graduate from college.

But that is not the case anymore.

There are many people competing for our jobs. Someone living thousands of kilometers away could do your job for a fraction.

You can stop learning yourself. Others might try to outwork and educate you.

People who are curious and constantly learning are the best people to be at the top of any industry. They are skilled at their job, but never assume they know everything.

The truth is that you will never stop learning and growing.

Taking care of yourself means you are constantly working to become a better version of yourself.

You don't need to compete with others or worry about the outside forces. Instead, you are giving your best and becoming irreplaceable by having exceptional knowledge and high-paying skills.

All of us are busy and stressed. However, to live a happy life in this complex world we must take care ourselves. We need to make decisions about how we spend our time.

It is essential that we:

To ensure that we are fueled with inspiration and energy, we need to change what we eat -- both mentally and physically.

Be firm about your boundaries.

Do something you don't want to do.

Never stop learning, because it's how you keep your competitive edge and make yourself irreplaceable.
