Behind Every Bar Is a Story — And We Want to Hear Yours
A new cocktail platform is spotlighting real bartenders from around the world — not just their drinks, but their voices

There’s something sacred about the bar.
Not just because of the spirits or the craft, but because of the people who stand behind it. Bartenders are more than just service providers — they’re part psychologist, part performer, part chemist, part confidant. They listen, they create, they remember your favorite drink even when you’ve forgotten it yourself.
But too often, the stories of these artists go untold.
At MyCocktailRecipes.com, we’re setting out to change that. We’re launching a brand-new interview series featuring bartenders from around the world — not influencers, not celebrities, but working professionals with real stories to tell.
And if you’re reading this and you’re a bartender, we want to feature you.
What This Project Is (and Isn’t)
Let’s be clear: this isn’t some corporate PR campaign or paid feature request.
We’re not selling anything. We’re not asking for a following.
We’re just passionate cocktail lovers who believe that every great drink has a story — and it starts with the person who made it.
Our goal is simple: to give bartenders a space to speak — about their work, their ideas, their philosophies, their experiences.
You don’t have to be a mixology superstar. You don’t need to know molecular gastronomy or have a perfect résumé.
All you need is a love for the craft — and a willingness to talk about it.
What You’ll Get
Once we connect with you, we’ll send over a few thoughtful questions — things like:
What brought you to bartending?
What drink tells your story best?
What’s something about your job that people don’t understand?
How do you see the future of bar culture?
Then we’ll take your answers and craft them into a clean, beautifully written article, published on MyCocktailRecipes.com in our "Bartender Stories" section.
We’ll also:
Feature your Instagram (with a link and profile mention)
Share the article with our growing network of readers, cocktail enthusiasts, and other bartenders
Give you full approval before anything is published
Here’s an example of what one of our interviews looks like:
It’s free. It’s simple. And it’s yours.
Why We’re Doing This
Because bartending is a craft — and like all crafts, it deserves recognition.
We’re tired of the same generic cocktail articles written by people who don’t even step foot behind the bar. We believe the real knowledge lives in the hands of working bartenders.
And we believe readers — especially younger ones exploring cocktail culture — deserve to hear from people who actually live the trade.
We’ve already featured bartenders from places like Paris, Florence, Beirut, and Mexico City. Each story is wildly different, but they all share a common thread: authenticity.
No hype. No filters. Just the truth, served straight up.
Interested?
Let’s make this easy.
If you're a bartender (or even just someone behind the bar who has something to say), get in touch. We’ll do the writing — all you have to do is talk to us.

Let’s Tell the Story of Bartending — Together
We’re still small.
We don’t have millions of followers.
But we’re growing — and we’re building something honest, something that actually cares about the people in this industry.
If you’ve ever felt like your story deserves more than just a passing tip or a smile from a guest, this is your space.
Let’s talk.
Let’s write.
Let’s raise a glass to what really happens behind the bar.
