Why Would Anybody Choose to Be Gay?
I was thinking about my LGBTQ brothers and sisters this morning. The things they endure and have to go through as part of the LGBTQ community. The nasty things that are said behind their backs. You hear it from conservative Christians and mean-spirited bigots far too often:

Transcendence
It had been years since Alex had changed their password. They had been too scared, too scared of what might happen if someone found out their secret. But as they sat in front of their computer, staring at the login screen, they knew that it was time to reset their password.

Conquering Elements: A Haiku Series on Overcoming Challenges and Finding Love in the LGBT Community
In ancient Greece, love was seen as a force of nature, akin to the elements themselves. And, in this haiku series, we see that love is indeed an elemental force, burning fiercely like fire, flowing adaptably like water, taking root and thriving like earth, and soaring freely like air.

Despite the progress that has been made in recent decades towards LGBTQIA+ equality in some parts of the world, many LGBTQIA+ individuals still face significant challenges in their daily lives due to their identities. This article will explore the experiences of LGBTQIA+ individuals living in countries with more conservative cultural views on gender and sexuality, including the discrimination and persecution they may face, the ways in which they cope with and resist this discrimination, and the impact on their mental health. The article will also discuss efforts to promote acceptance and understanding in these societies, and the role of allies in advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights.

Cleveland State licks boots
There lies a husk on the first floor of the Cleveland State University Student Center. The spot, formerly inhabited by Chili’s, has been vacant since this past summer, when Aramark, the new food service company for CSU, took over. Aramark stated that students could expect to see a Chick-fil-A open in the empty spot for the Spring 2022 semester. Although the location has not yet opened, this was surprising and worrying news to me and many other students.
