The laws that are currently being passed in our country are no longer able to hide behind the notion of being, "for the wellbeing of the children." America was supposed to be the country that was based on the idea of being a melting pot where everyone could come and be welcome to be themselves. Now it seems that the only individuals that are being welcomed into this so-called melting pot are those that are approved by the people who would consider themselves the massive of this country.

Targeting a certain demographic of people is what begins the history of genocide. This can all be related to another moment in history around the 1930's and I am sure that I do not have to go into what moment that was. There are stages to Genocide, we are in the seventh stage. The first stage is the classification where a certain group of people has been separated into an, "us and them" ideal. This has occurred for the LGBTQ community for as long as they have been publicly recognized. The second stage is symbolization where people are forced to identify themselves and this happens even down to signing paperwork for jobs or other government documents. The third is discrimination which the LGBTQ community has always had to deal with. The fourth is dehumanization where a community is equated with animals, vermin or diseases. A good example of this would be the AIDS epidemic in the 1980's. The fifth is the organization where the government creates specific groups of police or military to enforce policies against the community which has been happening with the new and previous laws being enforced. The sixth is polarization where the government broadcasts propaganda to turn the populace against the group, and I think that level has been obviously reached.

We stand as a community in the midst of the seventh and eighth levels of genocide. The seventh level is the official action to remove or relocate people based on their community. This is happening in many states where youth are being removed from their parents for the receiving of gender affirming care. The eighth is persecution which is the beginning of murders, thefts of property and or trial massacres. This is in line with new laws allowing the death penalty in certain cases involving gender affirmation medical care for anyone under 18.

The ninth stage will be extermination, and before you try to tell us that this is yet again something that will never happen, we have heard this before in all the other stages of genocide and look where we are today. The tenth is the government denying that it has committed any crime and I do not think that I have to go into the inevitability of this happening.

If knowing all of this does not make you see the truth behind the lies that the government is feeding us, then you will be on the wrong side of history. This is not about sexualizing children; this is not about any force to make a child change their gender. This is about individuals who should have the unalienable right to seek healthcare without having to have the government be a third party in the conversation with their doctors.

Forcing a transgender child to go through puberty when there is another option is tar amount to torture. The torment of our youth should not be the priority of our government while we are still dealing with mass shooters, school shooters, a housing crisis and so much more important things today.

Please, be safe and continue to fight the fight that we all need to support.
