Marijuana: The Hero
In a world filled with opioid addiction, we have found a natural alternative. The problem is that it is illegal in most states. I know you are probably thinking, well, medical marijuana is legal in some of these places. However, there are issues getting access to that even in states where it is legal.

Cannabis Legalization
Many people around the world have been saved, cured, and relieved of pain from just one plant that grows like weeds: marijuana. Plenty Americans believe it would be beneficial for the cannabis plant to be legal. There are many reasons why cannabis products should be legal including the medical benefits, the positive effects on nature, and the great effects it can have on the United States economy.

The Hypocrisy of UK Marijuana Laws. Top Story - March 2018.
Ah, the UK. Great Britain. Good old Blighty. Home of tea obsessions, crumpets, queuing etiquette, Yorkshire puddings (savoury,) and Spotted Dick, (sweet dessert,) poor dental hygiene, plummy sounding vowels and Hollywood villains.

The Benefits of Hemp . Top Story - March 2018.
So lately, the world—yes, the world—is all about legalizing weed, which I am totally OK with. The thing is...everyone is so hung up on the medical side of this, which, in itself, is good. What about all the benefits of hemp, though? These benefits are things we should also be looking into for an example, and I will delve deeper into some others, but an example would be creating a combustible fuel using hemp. What? Don't you think that's possible? I think some research should be done on your half, because this is completely possible. Just look up Henry Ford's all hemp car that ran on hemp fuel and was completely made up of hemp made steel, which is stronger than our normal steel.

Where Are the Real Standings for Marijuana Opinions?
INTRO: As many already know marijuana has officially been legalized in 9 different states. To begin this article of my opinion, I'd like to state that I personally don't believe marijuana should be legalized, anywhere for that manner. Now, before you get all pissed and decide to click off, this wasn't some random clickbait (trust me), I have specific views that are completely out of the ordinary and societal norm when it comes to this conversation. Of all the research I've ever done on weed, and all the marijuana I've smoked for the past several years I have yet to understand that at least one person agrees with my views, in fact nobody even truly knows my views on marijuana and what I think should happen with this miracle plant.

Reasons to Legalize Weed
Let's legalize marijuana. You'd think it would be as easy as saying it, or maybe as easy as rolling up a pearl joint, but even that can get tricky sometimes. As is the case with legalization. No one's died while using marijuana (at least, as far as anyone knows today), and as far as we're concerned there's more benefits in cannabis consumption than practically anything else, besides maybe Bayer Aspirin. So, why isn't it legalized yet?

Should Marijuana be Legalised in the UK?
Cannabis is currently a class B drug in the UK. This puts it in the same category as dangerous drugs, such as amphetamines. Then, take alcohol, for instance. It is completely legal, but there were 8,758 alcohol-related deaths in the UK in 2015. This seems insane when cannabis has never killed anyone and alcohol is connected to many long-term side effects such as liver disease and cancer. Currently, if you are arrested for possession of marijuana you can receive up to five years in prison and a fine. There have been 87,247 marijuana-related cases since 2015, costing the police £31 million. All of that money was spent over a plant that has been proven to possess medicinal properties.

Cannabis: Public Enemy #1
It's ironic a plant that has never killed anyone can be the topic of conversation filled with so much controversy, but it's true. Cannabis has been named public enemy number one by the federal government and every conservative American from North to South, but why?

Brother Down
As I arrive, you can almost feel an energy in the air. I walk into the nondescript professional center on Church street in the sleepy town of Amherst, NS, as I climb the stairs to the third floor, home of Nova Scotia's Provincial Courts. I open the door to be greeted by body armour-clad sheriffs and police screening everyone that walked through, as I catch a glimpse out the window at passers-by looking and pointing at a car lined with placards across the street.
