Mary Mothers
There's one thing that is quite clear, cannabis is on the rise. It's medicinal purposes are real and effective. The side of marijuana, that the government has long time neglected, is making a come back into doctor's office prescriptions. The United States has had a back and forth tug-a-war happening for decades regarding this plant. But what's gonna happen when/if it reaches full maximum potential for legalization? Are we mature enough as a nation to accept this "hail-Mary?"

The Fun We Had with Weed
I know everyone says you shouldn't smoke marijuana as a kid. It causes brain development issues and all that. Well, we smoked it quite a bit. I will be indulging in some of my memories when I used it. So I first smoked it in the 9th grade. It was okay but it got more fun when summer came around. The first night we ordered pizza and ate the whole thing. At some point, I knocked over my dog's water bowl and had to mop it up. Over the next few years, we would smoke it any chance we could.

Front Porch Smoke Sessions
Our latest smoke sessions have started requiring blankets. The leaves are starting to fall, and it's no longer 80 degrees midday. What we're most excited about is the fact that the mosquitoes have finally returned to Hell, where they belong. Our friend, Brittany hasn't been with us to smoke this week, but we've all definitely been keeping in touch.

My Perception on Marijuana: Then vs. Now. Top Story - October 2018.
Ah, marijuana. Is it good? Is it bad? A debate that has never quite died down since it appeared in the United States in the 1930s. Everyone is allowed to have their own opinion, but fact trumps all. Both sides of the marijuana debate should know that marijuana can be both good and bad. Take it from a former stoner.

Higher Society
Mary Jane... where the hell do I start? No, seriously. In a way, I think it’s helped me navigate through life. Weed has been a constant go-to for me for the past year-and-a-half of my life (with thanks to my best friend and girlfriend), my own little crutch. For as long as I could remember, I’ve dealt with heavy anxiety and fluctuating depression; I’d think and overthink, toss and turn. It was like my mind was running constantly. I could never get a break. I’m sure we’ve all been there, and I’m not going to lie, it really sucks, but little did I know that the solution to my problem was closer than I thought.

Doing Acid Made Me Stop Smoking Weed
I used to be a stoner. I loved the way smoking made me feel. It got rid of my PTSD symptoms and anxiety and gave me an excuse to eat all the ice cream in the freezer. I also loved acid (LSD). It gave me revelations about what I was doing wrong with my life and taught me to be a better, kinder person. Also, it was fun and trippy and a blast to do with friends.

Marijuana’s Effects If You’re Not Careful
Smoking marijuana can come at a big cost that most people don’t realize. I know this from an experience of my own. This past year, I was a sophomore in college, now a junior, I lost practically everything. At the beginning of the semester, I started my first internship that offered a scholarship and I started a new work-study job under the same supervisor for my internship. I had it good until the middle of the second semester. Marijuana usually made me feel really anxious to begin with. I do have an anxiety disorder and it’s really suggested by doctors to be cautious with marijuana because sometimes it makes your anxiety worse.

Stupid High (Remembering an Event)
Marijuana had a big impact in my life during my senior year of high school. It was around April when my ex- boyfriend had broken up with me while I was depressed and had developed insomnia. I had a lot of stoner friends and they always bragged about how weed helped calm their anxiety and would help them forget about things for a while. When I would smoke weed I always did it just for fun, until one depressing day I tried to get stupid high to forget all my problems for a while.

The Truths About Cannabis
The topic of marijuana has been talked about for years. Whether it being the lasting effects, the types, or the medical benefits, there is a resounding discussion on marijuana anywhere that you go. Many people support the topic of using marijuana, although a fair amount of people disagree with the drug. Some states have already legalized marijuana, but is it truly needed and helpful for society?

Herbal Grace
Grace. Grace comes in many forms and at various times in life one seeks comfort or understanding of a moment. In the solitude that is Grace, Logic itself is strengthened and the need to continue on after hardship or "misfortunes" that life hands us is much greater than the temporary feeling of hopelessness... misery... despair. Myself, I had found Grace in one of the world's unlikely devices: Marijuana.
