Confessions of a Second-Hand Psychonaut
I’ve never done any illicit drugs, although I’ve come close. Once when I was nineteen, a girlfriend begged me to smoke with her, and so I put my mouth around a strawberry flavored joint, ready to experience any sort of high. But I couldn’t bring myself to light the damn thing. My girlfriend was disappointed—she was not one of those people who liked getting high alone. My doubt made her doubt me, or something like that.

Cannabis & Psychedelics
Cannabis is just a flower. Yet our stars nature it showers. For the meek it does empower! It has many ways to be used. A light so sacred don’t abuse. It knows the truth of what we choose. This sacred herb does love to teach. Into our hearts it tends to reach. Sol’s true, pure souls can hear its speech. When we listen there’s much we learn. For its aroma we do yearn. Toward the true spirit we do turn. Cannabis is not just a plant. Those who think so are just ants. Some love to listen, some do rant. We don't take cannabis lightly! Sol does know his plants thoroughly. Each one has personality.

The cannabis market of Vancouver and its various aspects
Many people do not realize that Canada has a very unique culture compared to the United States. One of the many differences is that Canada has a "liberalization" approach when it comes to cannabis use, unlike the United States, which has a restrictive and prohibitionist stance on the drug. The idea behind legalized cannabis dispensary in Vancouver , Canadian provinces and territories is to reduce crime related to cannabis use. Additionally, Canadian provinces have also taken steps to legalize possession of small amounts of cannabis for personal use.

Mary Jane and Me
Okay Mary Jane, Cannabis, Weed, Pot, and by the many more name's this plant goes by and has been a part of my life since a freshmen in high school. Yeah, you might think that wasn't that long ago but I am almost forty now. So, when you break it down like that, it's been twenty five years or so. Back then it wasn't anything like it is now in days. This story here is going to break things down in my lifetime on what I have learned and how it has helped me along my way.

The Smoker’s Aesthetic.
Just like everyone else, 2020 was a tough year for me. I went from losing my job, to losing my girl, to almost losing my hair. Okay, I was going bald, but I was going to have to cut my locs and start the process over. I wasn’t ready for the stress. And last but not least Covid-19.

I Just 'Juana Smoke
I was always a good kid I never smoked, drank, partied, did drugs, snuck out. I was always at home at a good time, always went to school, and had very few friends who also caused no trouble. My parents "raised me right" according to themselves.

A pub crawl except we're stoned instead of drunk
I admit it sounds scandalous, but debauchery isn’t the right word for it. It’s just fun. I was aboard one of three luxury stoner-fied tour buses that left Cheba Hut sandwich shop in downtown Denver one lovely morning a few years ago. We embarked on a four hour and twenty minute tour (yes, 4:20).

The Hemp Industry (Still) Has an Image Problem
I volunteered at a hemp industry conference a couple of years ago and noticed a deep divide between some of the people there. In Vermont, there were are around 900 hemp farms registered in 2019 (that number went down in 2020). The industry was in the middle of its bubble and getting a lot of attention from people who viewed it as a possible way to make some quick cash.

Cannabis & Music
Photo Credit: Daily Trojan Cannabis and Music, two of my most favorite things in the world. The feeling that comes over my mind, body, and soul when I consume Cannabis is equally satisfying as when I hear my favorite song or band play – just in a different way. Cannabis and music help heal and cope; I use them daily to help with my debilitating anxiety. They keep me motivated and keep me focused.

I Use Cannibis for Creativity
When I was five or six, I discovered art and painting. I had loved music since I could remember. They both became hobbies that developed during my childhood and teen years. In college when I was about seventeen I started smoking weed regularly when I was chilling with friends or alone when I was working on a project. I am and was a high-strung person so smoking really chills me out and helps me focus.
