Cocktails with the national drink of Japan

The national drink of Japan is sake in English-speaking countries known as rice wine. Here are some interesting cocktails to make which include sake. Before indulging in sake cocktails know your sake:
Junmai is a sake made completely from rice. It is full-bodied and savory. Best served at room temperature or warmed.
Honjozo is a sake recommended for beginners. It is light-bodied and refreshing cold or warm.
Ginjo and Junmai Ginjo is light and easy to drink. It has fruity and floral flavors and aromas.
Daiginjo and Junmai Daiginjo is best enjoyed cold.
Nigori-zake is cloudy and unfermented with rice particles suspended in the brew. It offers a richer, creamier texture than filtered sake and is generally sweeter.
Futsushu is also known as table sake. It is a stronger variety brewed with rice only polished between 70 and 90 percent.
It is good to know a bit about sake before adding it to your cocktail and letting the sake, sock it to you.

For Goodness Sake is a tangy and sweet-tasting cocktail. It is a mix of Nigori sake, ginger juice, simple syrup, lime juice, and pickled ginger. The simple syrup provides a nice sweetness and the pickled ginger provides the tang.

Grapefruit Cocktail is a cocktail that is heavy on grapefruit. It is a combination of Nigori sake, gin, grapefruit juice, sparkling water, ginger, nutmeg, and ice. The ingredients are poured into a shaker and shaken for about ten minutes to combine. Then poured into an iced glass. It is a great summer cocktail.

Grapefruit Honey Sake Cocktail for days when you need that extra sweetness. This is a mix of sake, grapefruit, sugar, honey, and thyme.

Shake it up with a Kyoto Sour. This cocktail mixes up grapefruit slices, green Tabasco sauce, sake, lemon juice, and agave nectar in a shaker before adding it to a glass and garnishing it with grapefruit.

Saketini is an interesting cocktail with the freshness of cucumber which is also used for decoration when serving the drink. Nigori sake, gin, and cumber come together for a refreshing taste. You can also choose to use vodka, This cocktail is a true Sake Martini.

Sake Bloody Mary is based on the original Bloody Mary with sake replacing the vodka. This cocktail combines Nigori sake, tomato juice, Sriracha, Worcestershire sauce, lime juice, salt and pepper, and a celery stalk for garnish.

Sake Lychee Martini is a very straightforward cocktail prepared with dry sake and lychee juice.

Sake Mojito when you want a taste of mint this cocktail combines Nigori sake, mint leaves, sugar, and club soda.

Sake Sangria is not your usual wine and fruit punch. The cocktail brings together Nigori sake, Merlot, pomegranate juice, lemon and lime juices, simple syrup, and soda water.
