As an athlete, I've been exploring how to develop an "indomitable" mentality - a necessity to become a top performer. So, how do the elite develop their mental "hardness"? First, they have clear and ambitious goals. A huge goal can motivate us to give all our energy and enthusiasm. I will set a seemingly impossible but really exciting goal, so that I can work towards the direction of beyond the limit. With this goal, all training is meaningful, and I enjoy the process of going beyond myself in pursuit of this goal. Second, they believe they can succeed. This belief is what drives us forward. I will study the classical works and learn how successful people have made a comeback. Through sharing and communication, I know that if I work hard enough, any goal can be achieved in the end. This success infected me and made me believe that if I keep looking for ways, my dreams will come true. Furthermore, they focus on the process, not the result. The elites know that success often takes a long time to accumulate and focus on the efforts of the moment rather than the results. I will focus on each training and learning, and believe that if the process is correct, the results will come naturally. In this process, I experience every moment of my life, enrich myself, and grow into a person with perseverance and patience. The result is just a milestone in the journey, and I love every step of the growth. In addition, they are good at identifying problems and solving them. The elite are always looking for fresh challenges and opportunities for improvement. I review my training programs and learning plans, identify shortcomings and make adjustments. Whenever I encounter a problem, I need to clear my mind and find a solution, rather than giving up in frustration. This problem-solving mindset keeps me on track and moving toward my goals. Finally, they are used to practicing and summarizing over and over again. Repetition is the only way to become proficient and achieve breakthroughs. I will summarize my experience in each training cycle and develop a specific plan for the next phase. In this cycle, my will, focus and perseverance are growing. Through repetition, I achieve mastery and surpass myself. The reason why the elites are the best is because they have developed a heart of steel. This heart gives them the strength to move forward in distant goals and long processes. It gives them the courage to face problems and get back up after failures. It allows them to learn to enjoy every milestone and to believe that success awaits at the end. Let's cultivate this heart, too. Let's set ambitious goals and believe that we will succeed. Let's love the process and grow in it, learn to solve problems and keep improving. Let's learn from our experiences, repeat them, and push ourselves beyond our limits through repetition! Improve Your Performance: Nutrition Tips for Yourself
For fitness professionals, nutrition is critical to our performance. Not only does it determine our fitness and performance, but it also directly affects our physique and mindset. So, how can we improve our performance through nutrition? Here are a few nutritional "hacking tips" to help you perform at your best. First, we need plenty of carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are our most important source of energy, especially in high-intensity sports. Storing enough carbohydrates can improve our physical performance, extend the duration, and vitamin in the exercise to play the best level. 3-4 hours before exercise, eat low sugar and high starch carbohydrates, such as whole wheat bread, rice, potatoes, can make carbohydrates in the exercise slowly released, to provide sustained energy. Secondly, ensure sufficient protein. Protein is the key nutrient for muscle repair and rebuilding. 30 minutes after exercise, protein supplementation can maximize muscle recovery. High quality protein foods like chicken breast, cod, Greek yogurt, etc. are recommended. It is ideal to take 20-30 grams of protein after each workout. Furthermore, essential fats are also important.
