The latest research by Dr. David D’Agostino and colleagues at Duke University Medical Center are perhaps the most exciting findings since they found that injecting rats with CBD made them stop licking their wounds to keep them clean. Another study by the same team found that the CBD reduces the rats’ stress responses, making them less anxious.

The day of the art walk was an odd pleasant one, and I strolled with abandon beneath the swirly painting of the Midwestern sky, a heart full of beauty and a head full of acid. I can't recommend the psychedelic addendum enough, as it complements the experience magnificently - as you browse the exhibits you'll find that you understand everything, even things that perhaps weren't intentional parts of said exhibits. You'll even be positioned to understand the patrons, those amateur art critics massaging their chins and tossing out the odd remark about contrast or symbolism in an effort to justify all the free wine and snacks they've been cadging. Consciousness being an illusion that the artist manipulates, those people are more a part of the exhibit than an audience, and you can appreciate them as the artist intended.

Therapy Benefits of CBD use
After a Road Traffic Accident in 2017, I sustained injuries which at the time, I thought to myself, 'oh well it will go away in a few weeks, and I can get back to my normal work & life pattern.' It's now 2021 and over those years in between, the pain levels have simply intensified, to include mobility issues which, to this day, have never diminished. Earlier this year I gave up working as a mental health nurse after having contracted Covid-19 in 2021 and required intensive hospitalization & oxygen therapy. Prior to discharge, the hospital discharge planning team had adaptations made to my home to support me with my worsened mobility. 7 months after discharge I made attempts at phased returns to my hospital nursing post but after three attempts of trying to walk/run around the ward, provide personal care and necessary/proportionate/justified restraint, care-planned for safety, I found I was struggling and at times (at the end of the 12-hour shift) was experiencing severe problems with driving back from work to our home just a mere 17 miles away.
