Like everyone around, I fought and pushed back

The eating is starting, so

RAT-A-TAT-TAT

Pushing through the fence with all their might. Break-through they really just might

With everything on the line we gotta pull our weight and finish them

So the fence can mend

Otherwise, by the end of the day this camp will be condemned

We moved from gutter to gutter to survive, but these beasts never let up the barrage. We’re tired of this daily struggle

Truly tired of the constant moving and crippling fear. And the rubble

What left behind each time is but a shadow of its former glory…

Heh…Glory I say. With them running around it feels like the veil of doomsday

Forever shrouding our existence. Pressing against… persistence

But today we can’t do what we do best and run. Today we have to stand up and overcome

“Fucking beasts! Just disappear already!”

I hear over the loud howls

Fucking beasts. They’re here already.

Smells so foul

They broke through the fence and the defence crumbled

Inspiring fear so immense

“Push’em back quick! We can’t have them get to the granary!” the leader rumbled

Fuck! The granary is now exposed so we move hastily

“Pull up the drawbridge. NOW!”

I pull the trigger back. POW!

I’m slowly pulled back. “HOW!” I hit’em with the stock.

And then slowly climb and meet the flock. The homies

Looking down at the menacing eyes of this horde and thinking

“Fucking zombies”
