Azure sky under a sun that oppresses, Blinding the eyes but heightening other senses. Casablanca, home of travelers and nomads, Daydreaming, oh, how I really want new comrades.

Echoes of an African rhythm traversing the rehearsing city, Following an invisible river, dispersing in reality. Glimpses of a local aesthetic fur, Hunting aromatic scents he prefers.

Illusive Zephyr, was the name of this bodacious cat, Joyriding on a bird is an old trick under his hat. Kaleidoscopic scenery of connected rooftops, Leisuring, a must to visit this kasbah's ancient shops.

Modernity did not abandon traditionalism, Nor did it erase any heritage by exorcism. Outlandish outlanders set foot on the place. Propinquity left it's noticeable trace.

Quaint minarets whispering tales of yore, Resonating with echoes from the kasbah's core. Serene palm trees sway in a mystic grace, Telling stories of time in this ancient space.

Upon the horizon, the sun bids adieu, Vivid hues of union on the purlieu. Wanderlust hearts, restless and free, Xfering an excitement spree.

This was just a weird little fun abecedarian poem about my hometown, that I was going to present to a challenge, before knowing I had to be a member to participate!
