Scents of pine and falling snow,
Something that I love and know.
The decorations and lights
In the trees on winter nights
Add cozy ambiance to home
As we sip hot chocolate with foam.
The sounds of laughter and gift paper
Are loving memories to savor.
Tales of the bearded man giving gifts
Based on where one is named on the lists
And riding with eight reindeer and a sleigh
Add wonder to the solstice holiday.
Sing carols of Yuletide
With conviction and pride.
Remember the true meaning.
Celebrate nearing greening
For the nights become short
And there is less to port.
With good times and great friends
The cold bitter time ends.
