yours. irrevocably.

your love is ingrained in me like a deep-seated belief

yours. irrevocably.

I want your love to seep into my bloodstream,

To be ingrained in my bone marrow,

A silent hymn echoing through my veins,

Singing your name in the chambers of my heart.

I want your love in the air I breathe,

In the water I drink, in all that I do.

Let it settle beneath my skin,

Thread itself into the spaces between my ribs,

Interwoven with my very soul.

I don’t want it to consume me—

No, no.

I want it to claim me so fully,

So irrevocably,

That it lingers in my body long after this life,

So deep, so undeniable,

That even my DNA will remember you.

Let it etch itself into my fingerprints,

So that every touch, every caress,

Leaves behind the echoes of your love.

Let it live in the curve of my lips,

So that every word, every whisper,

Carries the remnants of you.

With every heartbeat, with every sigh,

With every flutter of my lashes against the dawn,

On good days, bad days, and all the days in between,

Let me feel it, know it, carry it.

Let it be the pulse beneath my skin,

The steady hum of something eternal,

A truth so woven into my being

That I could never be anything but yours.

Beyond all doubts, all fears, all fleeting uncertainties—

I

Am

Yours.
