Your out of my head

It took time, at last your gone

Your out of my head

You’re not in my head anymore,

I’ve closed the door, sealed the floor.

The echoes faded, the shadows fled,

I’ve moved on, and you’re long dead.

No longer trapped in yesterday’s hold,

I’ve found my feet, I’ve grown bold.

The weight you carried has slipped away,

I face the dawn, a brighter day.

Your name once lingered, sharp and clear,

Now it’s distant, barely near.

The threads unraveled, the ties undone,

A new chapter started, a life begun.

You’re not in my head anymore,

The winds of change began to soar.

I’ve moved on, and now I see,

Freedom tastes like clarity.
