Your Love Reserved for Somebody Flawed
Forgotten Contemplations

When you think of your problems today,
Dive into the memories of a happier yesterday,
So many anecdotes just a thought away;
Likes our days spent together, watching the pine needles gently sway,
Just you and me, feeling the soft drizzle from where we lay;
Guilty as charged in the long lost moment,
Your piercing gaze unfolds into it's simplest component,
Abstinence holds the key to defeat your inner opponent;
The Original melodies lost in the familiar dissonance,
Like the relationship between a vowel and it's consonant;
You, my broken barbie, left everyone smitten and awed,
But your love was reserved for somebody flawed,
Repugnant but concealed by the pulchritudinous applaud;
Your words arranged so gracefully like a perfect glissade
Your soul imprisoned by the beauty outlawed;
Your smiles lost in translation to all but a few,
In the Indisputable struggles concealed both old and new,
The long line ends yet you discover another queue;
This immense affection you've reserved only for lies that are apparently half true,
Compares nothing to the love, wish you only knew;
Strange as it seems, you continue to inspire,
It may have been wiser to let go despite the obvious desire,
So many mistakes just waiting to transpire;
We all want to live with honesty but everyone is a educated liar,
We have already reached the skies but yearn to go higher;
