Echoes in time
Remnants of the past
These lonely memories, they last
Moments gone
Times and places
Are now empty spaces
Energy spent
Recorded in the mind
Hollowness I will find
People come and go
The relentless illusion of time will flow
I’ve shared my journey with many
Today,
I drift alone
The spiritual path few have known
I walk with God
Ghostly memories a facade
They belong to the physical
My mind and body
Carry scenes from the distant past
My soul detached
The wind blows
The sun will shine
Purpose here you will not find
Lonesome clouds meander
Across the sky
Like our lives
Here for a little while
Before they die
Leaving behind
Energy residue
Of lives once here
Most chasing their career
Life is impermanent
Lived like it’s permanent
The soul’s mission forgotten
Misbegotten
Lower vibrations
Bring shallow sensations
Raise your frequency
And you will see
Beyond what’s before you physically
