Your Book

each day is a page, a page in the book of life,

each page begins and ends talking with God,

and so;

shall we turn the next page,

tomorrow’s page awaits the author’s entry.

just as today’s page is signed while on our knees,

so shall tomorrow’s begin,

• giving thanks for all that’s written, for all to be written,

the author knows not what words await his eager pen,

he only knows the page is desirous of,

good will,

love,

kindness,

giving without expectation,

picking up they who have fallen,

supporting they who are weary,

passing a smile to they who are sad,

sharing hope with they who cling to despair,

thus, the day’s page is full,

knees again bent, and another page, consistent with God’s liking,

is forged in the hearts of those who were touched.
