Your Beautiful Innocence

A day crush to remember at least for the night.

Your smile has always struck deep,

The way you laugh makes my heart leap.

Through joy and pain, I silently observe,

I watch as your presence calms my nerves.

I never thought the day would come,

When I would see an angel and still be this dumb.

The way you walk, more like a stride,

Moves my insides like an ocean tide,

From mush to proud,

The feeling all around.

If you don't know my name...I do not care,

Just the thought of being without you, I cannot bare.

Each day I stare,

But you might never care.

Each day I dream,

You make me want to scream.

In the silence I long for you,

In my troubles when I am blue.

Sometimes I feel all alone,

Like, I have never really been known.

I silence the voice as I cry into the night,

Please help, say everything is going to be alright.

I've heard it be told that my tears are weak,

But why, just why, will you not speak?

Every day I wait, hopeful for your glance,

Or your smile to tell me I have a chance.

But no, I sit just you and me,

Still thinking of what we could be.
